Overall Good Experience

The house was exactly as described and in a good location. It was just a short walk to the beach. The space was perfect for our family and our sons’ friends. We really enjoyed the heated pool even though the heater sounded like a dying cow every time it turned off. The golf cart was nice to have and we made good use of the bikes. Our only concern was the AC’s ability to keep the upstairs cool.

Family gathered for wedding

The home was laid out well for our group of 8 adults and 5 children. The space downstairs was accommodating for us to gather and the screen porch and pool area was excellent. Beach access was an easy walk with the children. Although we had some kitchen electrical issues, communication with management was smooth and promptly tended to.

It was ok

We had issues with the ac at first and i was told that somebody check the property before us going in . The golf car didn’t work the tires were flat from previous visitors i did the report and they show up at our check out day . Needs more atention to communicate with the visitors.

Great house but sprinklers are terrible

The house was great and everything was clean and nice, but the sprinklers were on at 7am or earlier and then were on for the majority of the morning. The sprinkler water smelled like sewer and would get you wet when you walked on the sidewalk. No other houses in the neighborhood still had their sprinklers on when we woke up at 7. It would’ve also been nice to have some basic things stocked like coffee and coffee filters but otherwise the house was great!

Do not stay here, read the other reviews, something will go wrong during your stay

Great location, but very dated house, nice to have golf cart and bikes. Everything else just sucks Just like everyone else that left a review we also had problems with the house. The internet didn’t work get, they send someone out and it worked for a little bit. But the main issue is the heated pool that we paid extra for did not work. This was the main reason we booked this property manager. I am still waiting on a refund for the fees I paid to heat the pool. Somehow it takes them up to a month to issue a refund. The whole time I was there they made it sound like they would be compensating me for this inconvenience as we would not have booked this house with out the pool. Finally why are you so stingy with toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags. I am a VRBO host as well and would never treat a guest like this.

Well the number 1 reason we booked this house was for the pool. We showed up and the pool was filthy and green. We were told by the owner’s parents that the rental company was notified but that we should notify them as well. So I did and they said someone should be coming out that evening to clean the pool. Well no one showed up so I contacted them again and they said we will get someone out there first thing in the morning he didn’t show up till after 1:00 pm. Added a bunch of chemicals and scrubbed the pool walls. Said we couldn’t use it for 3 hours and that he would be back the next day to check it again. Came the next morning and added more to the pool to get rid of the algae. So we lost 2 days of using the pool. Had to very upset 3 year old boys. The screened in porch area was nasty as well the rug was so disgusting we couldn’t put the 9 month old down on it. Cigarette butts everywhere. There was mold in the master bathroom shower My daughter is a pharmacist and found an adderall tablet in the bunk room where the 2 three year olds were sleeping. Thank god she found it before they did. My son captured a spider the size of a 50 cent piece. The location to the beach and stores was excellent

No Pool Heat!

The place was mostly great. A little surprised at the lack of anything pantry-wise. Not a sugar packet, not a shaker of salt. But that wasn't a big deal. The layout is great and plenty of space for groups. The problem was that even though I requested the pool be heated weeks in advance of our stay, the management company apparently doesn't check their VRBO inbox. So I called on the day we were to arrive. They said they would heat the pool but it might take up to 48 hours. They then told me they would have to charge me for all 5 days of our stay, even though the pool wouldn't be warm for the first 2. Well, despite many calls and texts, the pool was never heated. It wasn't even running. If you have been to Seaside before, you know Spring Break is iffy weather and one of the main reasons we rented this house was for the heated pool. I would not stay here again, nor would I use this management company again.

House amenities are aged and property management doesn’t fix items

The location is the best part of this property. In terms of challenges, 2 of 3 entrances into the home kept getting jammed. We couldn’t access the upstairs patio at all and when the property management company came to fix, they advised we should use a screwdriver to open the door, which we didn’t have. The oven doesn’t turn off (you have to use the breaker box) and none of the burners’ settings accurately depict the heat level actually projected. We’d planned to use the golf cart the entire time but the kill switch had been activated and it took us a long time to figure it out. The house itself was just very beat up from tenants using it. Broken screens, carpet stains, ripped out smoke detectors, broken refrigerator door handles, etc. I recommended the property management company spray for bugs as we found a cockroach in one of the kitchen cups on the last day there. We’ll definitely not be booking this house or this property management company again.
