SHARI'S PLACE - UNEXPECTED CHARM; STAND-ALONE COTTAGE

NEW - Refurbished patio and yard with extra seating (see photos). This adorable cozy, stand alone home is quiet with unusual items that you will not see in other vacation rentals. **There is no longer a gas "stove" in the kitchen** We have substituted a new Air Fryer, two burner gas stove top and a large electric skillet. Our guests are amazed that we provide literally everything you may need or want. "Margarita" is conveniently located in the middle of our fabulous San Luis Obispo County wine country. Just 10 minutes to San Luis Obispo on the South bound HWY 101 and 20 minutes to Paso Robles on North bound HWY 101. This home is very close to town and a wonderful place for walking. In town, you will find Ancient Peaks wine tasting and across the street is Santa Margarita Adventures for Zip lining and tours. I do my best to keep my house extremely clean and well maintained and very well equipped. Linens are professionally cleaned and ironed. I personally make sure that all all linens are in top condition for your comfort. Our home is powered by solar! ALWAYS DOING OUR BEST FOR YOUR BEST EXPERIENCE.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker. Housekeeping is available on request.

Our stay at Shari's place was outstanding! She was warm and welcoming, the little house was clean, comfortable and cozy, and the neighborhood and town were quiet and felt safe. The kitchen, laundry, bathroom and linen closet were all well stocked and contained everything we needed. We were able to cook several great meals for ourselves to save a few bucks on our trip, and after longer days of walking, hiking, and swimming, we had no problem getting comfortable and having restful nights of sleep. We highly recommend Shari's place!

A nice retreat

A cute, charming, clean and comfortable cottage with an accommodating owner. In a sleepy rural town a quick drive from San Luis Obispo, this was a nice place to wind down after graduation in SLO. Walking distance to a good breakfast and a few antique/vintage stores. .

Great place for a weekend getaway

Owner is very responsive and we particularly liked how well stocked the kitchen was. Only glitch was to find the house. This house is at the back of the property (with 2 houses on the same lot). Google Maps (and the map provided by the owner) took us to the driveway of the other house on the lot. One has to drive down the access road (which does not have a name) at the back of the house to get to the property. A map with detailed directions to the house would have been helpful.

Sweet stay in Santa Margarita

Very cozy with everything we needed during our weekend staying in Santa Margarita. We came to Santa Margarita for a wedding and Shari's place was just a mile away from the venue. The cottage was thoughtfuly decorated and she even left us a couple delicious pastries from a local bakery. The place was spotless, quiet, lots of blankets, towels, and everything in working order. I loved the print outs w/ maps and lists of local restaurants and attractions too. 10/10 will reccomend to anyone who plans to stay in the area!

Santa Margarita Gem

Shari’s Place is a very comfortable spacious cottage on a quiet private lane. With many special touches, the cottage has everything needed for cooking, relaxing, and restful sleep. Charming Santa Margarita Getaway with Perfect Outdoor Spaces

The house was lovely and perfectly located for my stay. I could easily walk into town for a light meal or wine tasting at Ancient Peaks. It was also ideally situated between San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles. The house itself was beautifully outfitted with everything I needed for a weekend away. I especially enjoyed the two outdoor seating areas where I could sit with my morning coffee and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Wonderful, Clean and Cozy Place!

We enjoyed our stay at Shari’s place. From the moment we booked she was very communicative and responded promptly to all my inquiries! It is a nice and cozy home away from home. We enjoyed the privacy, cleanliness, and comfort of the home. She was gracious to welcome us with a bottle of really good wine. All the amenities listed were available that made for wonderful stay. We used the air fryer and it worked well. The place is nicely decorated, bathroom and bedroom are both spacious. WiFi worked well. Private parking was a plus! Check in and check out was seamless! Washer and dryer super beneficial for longer stays! Overall, great place, centrally located, and 2-3 minutes walk to the Main Street and local restaurants. Thanks for a wonderful stay Shari and Tim. We look forward to staying at your place again.

Instructions for WiFi not clear. Different password on app and paper inside. Paper password is all uppercase, but we discovered it only works lower case. All in all, comfy little spot. Perfect for a couple day get away. Not having to clean anything at the end is a nice touch.
