I arived at 4:00 pm, at check in time, my room wasn’t ready. They took my information down and said they’d let me know when it was ready( they never did ). An hour later I was furious and went to the front of thr out of control line and told them I needed my room NOW. I had been on the road for over six hours and my son had thrown up all over himself. They finally gave me my room and I went to wash his clothes and I didn’t have change . I went to the front desk to get change for the washing machine, they informed me they did not have enough change to wash and dry, but I had enough to wash. I finally had enough to wash a load of laundry than the washing machine didn’t work. The following day I called downstairs for towels, they never arrived. The morning of checkout I called to ask for extra toilet paper and they said they would send it up, 30 minutes later I still didn’t get it. I called again and they said they’ll bring it up and they never did. I had to go find a housekeeper on one of the floors to ask them for a roll of toilet paper. I have stayed at this hotel twice, this is the place that we stay every summer for our Santa Cruz trip and I will never go to this hotel again. Our experience at this hotel put a damper on our entire trip. This was the worst stay I have ever had.

Loved our stay!!! Very clean Hotel. Comfortable beds and cute room decor. Starbucks was a bonus. The best part was being one block from the boardwalk. Will definitely stay here again!!!

As I arrived, I was able to check in at any time and I had gotten there around 2am. Unfortunately, i was not too happy with the parking situation. They were full and was told to go to park on the street. I had two small children with me, and we were all tired and wanted just to get to bed. We went driving around for about 20minutes and no luck. My husband dropped me off and decided he would go looking for parking and also no luck. I had spoken to front desk and after begging them to just park car inside they let the car in. I was upset at this situation. First there was no parking and there were drunk people one block up by the pier coming out of a bar or something. I was not going to expose my kids to this at all.

Loved the property and walkable to all Santa Cruz activities at the Boardwalk. Nice dining option at the Bistro for breakfast. pool was clean and large compared to most in Santa Cruz. Property has valet parking which is necessary with beach parking at hotels these days. Thanks for a great time.
