The hotel was super clean, facilities were well kept, the pool and hot tub were delightful. The breakfast was good and the staff was outstanding, everyone was friendly and said hello not just the checkin staff. The entry was a little difficult as it was on a one way street. The hotel itself was excellent but the area it was in had homeless, I didn’t feel unsafe at all and not the hotels fault, truly the fault of failed laws and policies of California. I am planning on staying here again in several months regardless of the minor inconveniences because of the staff and the pride the staff show in up-keeping their facilities.

Typisches US Motel. Gut renoviert, saubere Zimmer, gut ausgestattet. Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Kühlschrank, alles da. Für US Verhältnisse gutes Frühstück, aber natürlich alles mit Wegwerfgeschirr. Eine wirklich gute Möglichkeit in Santa Cruz zu übernachten. Empfehlung

Basic but clean and pleasant

The rooms are no frills and could use some updating, but they are clean, and the staff is very pleasant. The beds were fairly comfortable. You can only get into the entrance going one direction but that is not a big concern. We didn't stay for the breakfast since it was almost all carbs. We went to Zachary's which was fantastic.

Very, very clean. Water pressure in and temperature in the shower was great. The room service, ie towels , amenities , bed, were excellent. No elevator to second story , but the gentleman at the front desk offered to take it up for me. Parking lot was a bit noisy at times , but by bed time quieted down. Location was good for my purposes.

This was a totally acceptable two star motel. The room was clean, floors were new, AC worked well, wi-fi was good, parking plentiful, breakfast was a bonus. The bathroom was a bit old but fine. A good place for sleeping. Location too close to the freeway for my liking, but we didn’t hear it. Staff super kind and helpful. People were in the pool and spa, they said the pool was super warm.

Check in was easy, staff was nice. Rooms were clean. Beds were ok, not the most comfortable but good enough. The room was well appointed with fridge microwave, desk, wardrobe and large bathroom counter. Pool was open and warm, kids loved that! The room was well insulated from outside noise. We didnt partake in breakfast because we ALWAYS go to the Buttery when we're in town which is a can't miss. Great price for two rooms for two nights, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality for the low price!

went to the wrong comfort inn and was met with a woman whose broken English was very hard to understand and was reluctant to give directions to the other comfort inn.When I finally get to the right place they seem to be short on cleaning staff so I was made to wait for an unreasonable amount of time.I was finally given a different room and from then everything was ok.

I asked if I could check in earlier so I can use the fridge in the room. The manager was kind enough to let me check in and drop my belongings in the room. There are cameras everywhere so I feel safe when I travel to SC for work. The rooms are clean and it’s such a quiet property, I like that my car is outside my door.

Great Location

Room was ready when we arrived and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast in the am was just what we needed to get the day started. Location is great as it is close to the FWY and far enough away from the beach to avoid all the traffic. The pool and Jacuzzi were a nice bonus to have. Would very much recommend staying here.
