Redesigned in 2024 as part of a TV show, this cozy studio cottage features 250 sqft. of optimized island space with a queen bed, a full bathroom and a kitchenette. Walk or bike to beaches, shelling, dining and shopping. Complimentary adult bikes and beach equipment are provided to explore the miles and miles of beaches and bike paths Sanibel has to offer, full of fun under the sun.
The Space:
This is one of 6 cottages within the historic PalmView of Sanibel, each suite beautifully appointed with a distinct theme. The PalmView offers charming fully equipped cottages within walking distance to Sanibel’s famous shelling beaches and the Gulf of Mexico.
We are pet friendly for up to two dogs up to 50lbs each. If you will be traveling with pets, please notify us after confirming your booking so that we can update your reservation accordingly. Per pet fee of $75 will apply.

Guests enjoy free access to our Gigabit mesh internet service, bikes, beach gear, grill and cooking area as well as a communal laundry room. One parking space per unit.

The cottage is situated on the desirable East End of Sanibel, which is equidistant to almost every sought after beach on Sanibel. You will be near restaurants, shopping, and activity, while still far enough removed to be reminded that you are on vacation. This location is also advantageous in that it provides quick on and off access to the causeway, as to allow guests a quick commute into and from Fort Myers without having to contest with seasonal traffic.
Getting Around:
We recommend bikes or a golf cart to get around.

Guests must complete rental agreement prior to their stay.
A non-refundable cancellation fee of $100 will apply for reservations cancelled prior to the cancellation policy window. This fee covers our credit card processing fees on a refunded deposit payment.

The room was much smaller than I expected. The particular room I was in had a shower that you couldn't turn around in without hitting the sides, if I were a plus sized person I don't think I could even use the shower. The other rooms seemed much bigger. It is a quaint set up though. The bikes available for use were handy (watch which ones you pick), they made it possible for us to ride to Jerry's ( 5 mins) for ice cream and some groceries. Just a short ride down Periwinkle to other shops and food options such as Mud bugs and Lazy Flamingo.

Perfect for a weekend stay for two
This cottage was perfect for us and we loved the free bicycles provided which allowed us explore. Short walk to the beach and short bike ride to an awesome breakfast at the lighthouse cafe! Our host was super nice and communicative. We had a great time

The biggest issue is that the drywall between units is so thin you hear everything from the other units.
