Sanibel Siesta on the Beach, Unit 206. Fall in love with our unspoiled beach and relaxed Sanibel Island lifestyle! This pretty second floor corner unit boasts recent upgrades including furniture, king size mattress, kitchen, bathrooms, and a new 46-inch flat screen TV. The large screened lanai can be accessed from the living room and dining room and overlooks lush tropical grounds. This spacious 2 bed/2 bath non-smoking unit features all the comforts of home and is an easy walk to both the large heated pool and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico! The fully-equipped kitchen features granite counters, smooth-top stove and ice-maker in the freezer. The master bedroom has a king bed and a private sitting room on the side with ceiling fans in both. The guest bedroom has twin beds. The living room has a sleeper sofa. Other amenities include ceiling fans, central air, 3 satellite flat-screen TVs with DVD/VCR, linens, and a starter pack of soaps, paper-products and coffee. Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are provided for your enjoyment. Beach towels are available for rent or purchase from our on-site office. Sanibel Siesta offers tennis courts, heated swimming pool, WiFi, bike rentals, shuffleboard, gas grills, laundry facilities and elevators, all in a lush tropical setting with amazing sunsets. We are conveniently located within walking distance of a golf course and restaurants. Reservation pricing is based on a party of 4. A $30 daily fee will apply for any 5th or 6th person, a 1-time extra linen charge of $35.00 will apply. Max occupancy is 6 including children and infants. Absolutely NO PETS.

The room smell, AC wasn’t working too many flies and the carpet was soaking wet we asked to change rooms but they said no we didn’t even stay we ended up leaving and they refused to give us a refund.

Beds were hard as a rock. The room wasn’t fully cleaned. I found women’s underwear under the bathroom sink. One elevator worked barely. Constant construction being done. Looked nothing like the pictures.

We were in town for the college World Series and if every other hotel in the area was not full we would not have stayed here. There was no air conditioning, the water pressure in the shower was very poor and the doors to the outside were never locked so anyone could get in and out of the building.

the light in the room did not work at all. We needed to use the lamps. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work at all and did not even have a knob to turn it on. There were people in the back starwell next to our room that tried to push their way into our room as we were entering our room. One woman was mumbling incoherently, face tattoos, not clean clothing. Kind of frightening for my 15y old child.

room was filthy smelled like smoke and urine. the bathroom had dirty hand towels under the sink and the bedding had yellow stains on them. when I looked under the mattress io found not one but over 30 bed bugs. the staff said they would give me a full refund but now two weeks have gone by, and they are refusing to give me a refund. I never even stayed in the room. it was booked for two days, and I stayed 15 min before I was absolutely discussed. if you can find a homeless person's tent on the side of the road to stay at it would be a better accommodation then this property. absolutely avoid at all costs.

GUEST BEWARE - the place is awful. We personally believe, this hotel is not worthy of being registered with Hotels.com. The lights in the bathroom did not work, the floor was filthy, we saw bugs, rust and peeling paint. A health inspector should visit this location. They did credit my rooms after we walked out of the rooms five minutes after checking in and complained to front desk, My friend was looking in the drawers for bugs and the dresser drawer fell on his ankle. See pictures. Just a mess.

The room was fairly clean. Seemed to be missing basics like cups, water, etc. It was noisy and the pipes kept making noises. Also outside was a lot of noise that the hotel did not control The breakfast was not great and very limited in choices.

Booked the room then read the reviews, and got nervous. Our experience was good. Clean place. Had to wait a few minutes for someone to show up at the desk. Got checked in and went to the room to find that the a/c was not working. Went and reported it and the maintenance man was there in under 2 minutes. He fixed it but it took forever to cool the room. Beds were ok, shower was good. Breakfast was quite lacking. Eggs that are cooked right there on the counter and the gravy was straight out the can, not warm.

Waited at the front desk for 20 minutes before a housekeeper went to get the manager to check us in. Got in the room and AC was broke. Asked to switch rooms- manager said “unbelievable.” Rust in the showers. Will never go back.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Very unclean. Our shower was so dirty. The room itself felt disgusting. The hotel stunk all throughout. I would’ve rather stayed in the trunk of my SUV :(
