This little cabin was perfect. We enjoyed all of the modern amenities but still keeping that rustic feeling. Beds were amazingly comfortable and the cleanliness was top notch. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was clean and comfortable. It's close enough to town that getting back and forth wasn't an issue. It offered plenty of games to keep the kids occupied. Next time, I'm bringing my dog - they have a wonderful area.

We did a large roadtrip with multiple airbnbs in the PNW and this one was our fave. Great location. Cute unique spot. Quiet. It’s def a Cabin in the woods so there was showers with the occasional spider and it was lived in, but clean. We’d rent again 100%.

Great little place

Was a nice base for hiking all over the Sandy and Salmon river recreation areas. Be aware that though it appears on the map to be right across the street from the river, there is no river access and the entire street is just fences and gates with no trespassing signs.

Little treasure in the wood

I loved, loved this place. I would definitely rent it again. Close to family and yet gave me my own space to spread out. Felt like I was in a little magical place in the woodlands!

A-Frame Getaway

This cabin had it all for us. Close to various small towns and recreational activities while still giving the feeling of being out in the middle of the woods. Though the cabin appears to be unfinished it did not take away from its charm or comfort and was the perfect place to recharge with friends.

Great little cabin. Served our needs just fine. I'd make a larger note in the description that it doesn't have heat/AC. This didn't end up being an issue for us because we went during a mild season. The propane was out for the grill, also not a big deal because we could use the stove. Overall, the place was great for small children and we will definitely come back if we're in the area again!

Roomy & Bright A-Frame Cabin

My son, dog and I stayed here for 6 nights. He went to snowboard camp each day while I worked in the cabin. Strong internet able to handle video calls. Bathroom recently updated, airy and decorated well. Big washer and dryer, lovely deck to sit on in the evenings with the outdoor lights. Nice yard (not fenced in). Quiet, small neighborhood. Lovely to walk around. "Even Better Ifs": Needs a recycle bin, ice trays and a curtain on the window in the loft.

Would stay again

Our GPS sent us to the back of the house - just an FYI. It’s tucked in a residential but very wooded area, you can hear the river. Cute older A-frame. We had one couple and two single adults, the pull-out option wasn’t great so they slept in the large downstairs bed together. All the basics, comfy, no a/c so it was stuffy when we got there, but luckily we had some cooler days and open windows and the provided fans made it comfortable. We stayed in 3 different rentals during this roadtrip and this one was voted our fave for the location and ambiance. The amount of beautiful hikes and scenery in just the surrounding areas is mind-blowing.

Cozy little get-away.

Our stay at the Alder Creek A-Frame was very comfortable. For a small cabin it had everything that we needed. It's close proximity to the town of Sandy made it a perfect place for us to call home while we attended a family event and we were much more comfortable than the limited motel/hotel offerings that Sandy has to offer. Access on and off the highway was much better than we anticipated. T-Mobile cell service does not work until you get into Sandy proper. The cabin itself was a little rustic but the kitchen was well appointed with everything you would need to prepare meals, the free TV services had a wide selection and we were very happy. Luckly as an elderly couple we did not have to navigate the spiral staircase to the loft. When our next family event arises in that area we'll certainly choose the quiet seclusion of the Alder Creek A-frame.
