Perfect stay

I wanted to celebrate my daughter’s completion of her doctoral program with a dream vacation. My sister and two nieces joined us. The home was absolutely beautiful and the ocean view was amazing! We just couldn’t be more pleased with our stay!

Family Getaway!

This property is even better than described! Absolutely beautiful and comfortable accommodations, with ocean views from every room in the house. The beach is literally right out the front door. We had a very relaxing weekend, the home had everything we needed.

Winter get-away

This vacation home is a ‘10’ hands down. You never know what you are going to get when renting but this rental was exactly as it was presented in all photos and descriptions. The management company was professional and very helpful. We don’t have any negative things to say about this rental. Would love to rent again in the future.

Scenic Views, Extremely Clean Home

This was a beautiful location. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Amazing sunrises and a nice, walkable beach. Cozy home that was immaculately clean. The welcome kits in the kitchen & bathrooms were a nice touch. This property uses a management company. At times, when communicating, I was convinced I was dealing with a bot. Odd responses or multiple people responding to the same question, none with knowledge of the actual home. The biggest disappointment was that prior to my stay I was told that a blind next to the bed in the master bedroom was broken in the open position. I prepared by bringing something to drape over the blind to block the light. Imagine my surprise when the entire blind was absent from the window.! While sunrises are incredible, on vacation I don’t want to be up at the crack of dawn everyday. They use the excuse that it’s a custom blind that takes time to replace, but apparently this has been an issue for quite some time and they need to go to the store to get a cheap blind in the interim. Additionally, upon arrival we couldn't get into the house via the front door using the provided code. Rather than proactively telling me the lock is broken (a replacement was on order) & you must use the backup key, there is just mention of the existence of a backup key in the standard home instructions document provided to all renters. Had it not been for these issues and another issue that was resolved in 24 hours, this would be 5 star rental.

Great Expectations

The idea was to have 4 days at a house on the beach, which we've never done. To relax, watch the ocean, take walks on the beach. The house looked perfect. The door keypad wasn’t working when we arrived but we got in easily using a key in a lock box. We found a nice basket of goodies awaiting us. The house and its view of the water met all our expectations. We thought the pictures online didn’t exaggerate the house’s size or view. The only problem was our booking occurred at the same time as the sand dredging project in Sandwich to restore the beaches on the bay which had eroded badly over the years. Work began on Friday around the house and on Friday night there was water pouring out of a pipe with 3 bulldozers driving around moving sand. And one of the 3 is constantly in reverse, which means the annoying beep-beep never stops. This work goes on 24 hours a day every day. By Saturday evening much of the beach around the house was restored and the work continued on to the east. The host treated us fairly for our inconvenience by refunding us for the 2 nights we had a construction zone outside our window. We enjoyed the house and Sandwich, and look forward to returning in the future.

Home by the Sea

Great place! Beautiful view! Close to sights. Very responsive to questions. Check in process took a bit because the first two codes didn’t work. Third code to key lockbox worked. Very comfortable beds. Everything that we needed for cooking was provided!

Property amazing, property management subpar

The property was beautiful and as pictured/described. Unfortunately, the ice maker wasn’t working and there was a loud noise seeming to originate from the A/C unit in downstairs bedroom. Both issues were reported Day 2. The property management company then proceeded to hound me with requests for photos, additional descriptions, and how to instructions to resolve on my own. After responding to these emails and attempting to solve, company then stalled and requested access whether we were home or not. Access was given Day 3. We were advised this was escalated to management and a team would be dispatched. Thursday crew was scheduled and then no showed. The management company does not understand or respect that we are on vacation and want to relax not coordinate maintenance. Issues should be addressed asap and without peppering the guests, who are paying a premium for information. The noise continued to bother the guest sleeping in the bedroom. A crew was finally sent on Friday, Day 5. They were on-site 5 minutes and said the noise was from a mechanical room they couldn’t access. Nothing further was done to address this issue. The responses and actions of the management company do not align with the cost to return. Ridiculous and unsatisfactory service!

Great house

This was a great house- clean, lots of room and lovely location. A few quirks but we enjoyed it. Access to the beach is about 1/2 mile away or hope the neighbors like you. The smoke alarm upstairs went off EVERY time we showered and the seals wake you up at 4 am if you leave the window open (but that’s part of the charm. ) Lots of great places to eat and a few fun things to do when it rains. Just hope it doesn’t erode into the sea!

Beautiful house and location

The house, location and convenience to activities were exemplary and we would visit here again. I would suggest restocking the kitchen with a real coffee pot for the coffee connisseurs, serving bowls, large pot for steaming lobster since we could only steam two at a time. Also it's nice to have a full set of matching plates that aren't chipped.

Family vacation

Nice area beautiful view. Nice home ..beach area in back of home is lacking ..had to go the other side beaches for a comfortable beach experience...had to put out all the decking tables and chairs ...place needed some maintenance..master bedroom ac unit didnt blow cold air ..had to call mtg ..to get a hvac company to come out to recharge the leakin the line second day there ..back screen on slider kept falling off ..i personaly had to fix...oven hood vent had no light ..had to replace the bulbs front door was tuff to open jam was tight ...other then a few inconveniences ..it was ok ...but not five star 3.5 on house and land ..but nice location and view ..

Cape Cod biking, glass, gardens, seals, and sunrises

This property is an incredible location on the bay in a peaceful neighborhood within easy walking distance of beach access points, a brewery, and seafood restaurants. The home was spotless and well stocked. There was even a welcome basket awaiting our arrival. It was the perfect setting for our gathering of friends to celebrate retirement. We especially enjoyed watching for seals, the beautiful sunrises, biking along the canal and Cape Cod rail trail, plus our glass experience with Peter Waechter, artist in residence, at the Sandwich Glass museum. The Heritage gardens and museums were the highlight of our last day on the cape. I would give this property 10 stars if I could.

Relaxing Getaway

We can say the house was very clean. We were looking for a place to relax and that’s definitely what we got. The bedrooms upstairs look out over the bay. The sunrise in the morning was so spectacular! We weren’t ready to leave after 4 days. I give this place a 10 stars.

Wonderful property

This property was beautifully decorated, clean, spacious, in close proximity to Rt 6 to explore the Cape towns and the water views from deck and all windows were gorgeous! During our visit, explored Salem, Plymouth, Provincetown, Orleans, Chatham and Falmouth (as well as Sandwich). The Dunbar House tea room (in Sandwich) was such a unique experience and my favorite! Highly recommend this property and would love to visit again!

Mom's getaway

My best friend and I got away for some peace, quiet and "me" time and this was the perfect location. Stunning ocean views, immaculately clean home, everything supplied for your stay, couldn't have been better. Any questions we had were answered quickly and the thoughtful touches throughout the house were much appreciated. Spent a lot of time in sun out on the deck listening to waves and watching the seals. Quiet neighborhood and when inside you could not hear any outside noise. Beds were comfortable and water pressure was great in both bathrooms. We hope to make this our yearly escape headquarters. Thanks for a great stay!
