Office closes at 10 so you can't cancel if you're running late they'll remind of of cancelation policy. Small pillows like airplane kind, hard bed and shower ran at a trickle. Had to use ice bucket to shower. Parking is narrow. For the price there are better options around.

We enjoyed our stay at this motel. There is not any included breakfast. The room we chose did not have a view toward the ocean, those were more expensive, and we wanted to do things and not stay in our room. Only one Ice machine on the property, and the late arrival that parked near our open window wasn't informed to keep quiet. There was a warm, cool to swim in that has a clear plastic fence, but no jacuzzi. The restaurant at the motel was a high class, and pricy. We enjoyed our room. A couple issues only. The cord on the room's coffee machine was too short, and we had to try different spot to plug in, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom was dead. No safe in the room. No AC needed for that area. Non in our room.

San simeon lodge ☆ Helpful front desk Good location Microwave and ice machines quite a distance overall. Rooms thin walls You can hear people talking outside and room next door You can hear doors/windows slamming and people heavy footsteps using stairs . Noisy feet trudging on 2nd floor. Phone didn't work. Rooms need upgrade. No air-conditioning . No feeling of comfort in rooms. Very dated. Overall veey noisy old hotel. That's why it's a 2 star hotel. Front desk 4 stars hotel 1 star. You get what you pay for. I would totally avoid this hotel, seriously. This is an HONEST AND TRUE REVIEW. Believe me !!!

We always enjoy ourselves when we come here. The most important thing to me is that it is clean. And it was clean. Everyone was nice. I just wish they didn't let RV's park in the lot in front, we paid for a partial ocean view, but the RV was sitting in front of the view.

Our stay was pleasant. Everyone was very friendly. We had some problems with the key to our room so the front desk offer us a different room which was very nice of them. The room was clean but notice mildew behind the toilet and on the ceiling. Other than that, it was very comfortable.

Ok stay

Because of the proximity to the beach its very damp. No air conditioning or heating and very thin walls. Its an older hotel, its comfortable and cozy but no locks on the windows and flimsy door locks made me a little uncomfortable. People running the hotel are very nice and helpful. They are the best thing about staying here.

The property is nice being right by the ocean. The pool area is odd and uninviting with the lounge chairs being outside the pool area. Except being woken up by a party happening at 1am it was a nice place.
