the host, Kaitlynn. was the greatest. She was very nice and the housekeeping was the best I have ever had. Everything about the housekeeping was beyond all expectations. Making arrangements for my next trip there.

Great location

Definitely recommend. Comfortable, clean and the location was central to the town. The view from the terrace is great for relaxing with an ocean view. The property manager Katlynn and her husband Angel were top notch. Always responsive and helpful. It's not a luxury spot but had everything we needed for a great 12 day stay.

Wonderful place in San Pedro

Great location. “Downtown” near everything. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Lots of space and a nice breeze when you open the windows. Would stay here again when we go back to San Pedro.

You get what you pay for and some.

This location is directly across from the airport and very centrally located downtown. If you’d like to watch airplanes, be sure to stop right across the street as the restaurant is on the runway which we very much enjoyed hanging out at. You get what you pay for here it is not the most glamorous of places, but very cost affordable. The property was clean and Yevette was very attentive and responsive to any questions or concerns we had. if you are looking for a reasonably priced place, this is the place to go, if you’re looking for luxury and high-end, you may want to continue your search. I was not disappointed for what we got for what we paid.

Great location

Nice 3rd floor condo. Excellent view of the Caribbean Sea. Close to the many excellent restaurants in San Pedro. Downsides (which have nothing to do with the place) is the huge amount of smelling and decomposing seagrass which apparently is a problem from Florida to Honduras and the constant rush hour of golf carts on the street.

Beautiful stay on the ocean

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at The Reef. The bed was comfortable, the shower was large and it was great to take in the warm ocean breeze after a day of diving sitting in the living room area. I would recommend everyone I know to stay here. Ramons is a stones throw away for all your diving needs (and it's much cheaper then Ramons).

Great staff and location

Belizean Reef...Fantastic!

Management and housekeeping were top notch and always available. Place was clean,spacious and the view was incredible. So many things to see and do within walking distance and its located in a very safe area,great restaurant and bars near by .Got to meet the owners of this fabulous place and they were so friendly and knowledgeable about the Island. I would definitely stay here again.Highly recommend.

Okay, could be better

Generally we were turned off by the space being dirty. Dirty not in the sense that it wasn't cleaned daily but the fact that everything was dated and needed to be scrubbed clean or updated. There were ants in the kitchen, electrical cover plate missing from one of the outlets, no sheets except for a fitted sheet on the two futons, lack of toilet paper in the bathroom, and paper towels in the kitchenette. The bath towels were gray and dingy. There is a Lebanese Restaurant around the corner and the owner's or worker's gave us unwanted attention which left a bad taste in my mouth. Yvette was very nice and helpful, in fact she picked us up at the Ferry Terminal. The cleaning person was also very nice and provided us with extra beach towels when asked. The owner whom we met briefly poked me with his finger to speak to me which is completely unacceptable. The silver lining to this experience was that the view is lovely. If we would return we would definitely not book this place. The only reason I am giving it two stars is because of the view and Yvette. Hope this helps.

Outstanding

The there of us stayed in Belizean Reef eight nights over Christmas, scuba diving most of the time. This condo is located on the third floor, and is perfect, very clean, spacious, close to everything, restaurants, pastries, dive shops, coffee shops, airport, and a beach, yet very quiet. The views from the balcony are gorgeous, sunrises are beautiful. Yvette, the property manager, is extremely helpful.

Delightful condo, delightful people!

What a delightful little condo unit! Homey, with fresh amenities and a beautiful ocean view and breeze on the balcony. We enjoyed the quite location while being mere steps from the airport and great beaches, restaurants and anything else we'd need. The staff and owners went the extra mile (and then some!) to help us in both good and difficult circumstances. We will treasure the place AND the friendships here, and hope to be back soon!

Perfect in most ways

Location great for walking along beach boardwalk to restaurants, shops. Just know it is not a swimming “beach” due to sargosa debris on shoreline, everywhere. Diving excellent, most places will pick you up at dock. View is wonderful. Yvette very helpful with check in, advise, she also set up golf cart for us. There is air conditioning in the bedroom but no unit in the main area and despite the breeze it can get quite warm. Ice cream shop and French bakery 5 min walk away. Will be back.

Perfect Location!

Great 1st Time Experience !!!

Our stay at the Belizean Reef was great!! Yvette and staff were more than helpful. Yvette met us at the airport and brought our bags back to the suite ( and took us back at the end of our stay) she showed us around the apartment and answered questions that we had.She suggested a great touring company SeaRious Adventures that is just a short walk. The suite was in a great location ( restuarants, shops) clean and had all the ammenties of home. It was a bit windy when we were there, my only suggestion might be a wind block of sorts on the balcony of the 3rd floor..Just a very friendly, helpful atmosphere..Thank -You Daryl, Toni, Yvette and staff for a most enjoyable stay..

Great Stay!

This ocean front unit was in the very best location and offered exactly what I needed for my work/play trip. It has plenty of space both inside and on the balcony. They were very responsive and even when I was really sick for a day, Yvette became a best friend and was my saving grace. Everything was perfect. The one thing I would add is suggest to new guests they should grocery shop so they have everything they need. I will be returning to Belize but for sure tonthis great find!!! Thank you for your tremendous hospitality!!!

Wonderful apartment located near everything.

My wife and I really appreciated Yvette and the entire staff at Belizean Reef Suites. She went out of her way to take care of us and make us feel comfortable from the moment we landed in San Pedro. Our 3rd-floor, one bedroom suite overlooked the ocean and was very comfortable. We enjoyed the rooftop, watching the sunrise and sunsets more than once. We walked everywhere (since we were close to all the great restaurants, bars, excursions). We rented a golf cart one day for a trip to Secret Beach, highly recommended.

Great location, Amazing views.

I highly recommend this unit. It met all our needs and helped make our visit to San Pedro very memorable. The owners, Daryl and Toni, were there during our stay and were very helpful and responsive. Daryl picked us up from the ferry and delivered us back at the end of the stay. The unit was clean, and in good repair. The air conditioning is only in the bedroom, but we found that was all we needed. We closed the bedroom door late in the evening and turned on the air conditioner while we slept. The rest on the unit has great cross ventilation, so our stay was comfortable. The location is central and within walking distance of most everything you need. It's very close to the airport, but noise was not an issue. We would not hesitate to stay hear again when will return to San Pedro.

Great location.

First time to Amberghis Caye and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is a great location to stay at as the unit was nice and clean, property managers were very helpful and it is close to lots of restaurants. The only downside was the lack of water pressure for your showers and occasionally the airport was noisy in the mornings.
