Pleasantly surprised.

The room was perfectly clean. The bathroom was perfectly clean. Looked just like the picture on the website. It was definitely upgraded recently, there was still a sticker on the new granite countertop. There was no problem with our room whatsoever. I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about, but our room was perfect, and I would stay here again. Room 210 upstairs was perfect. I would add that there is no AC or heat in the room, but I did know that ahead of time and brought extra thick PJs for the night. The room had a microwave and a nice new fridge. I will add that we could hear the neighbors next door. But they quieted down by bedtime.

Nice place in the center of town and activities. It was a little more active than we generally are looking for with street traffic and foot traffic. It's a motel so you hear your neighbors coming and going. Good showers lots of water pressure and very close to they ocean.

They might be short staffed, it seems like the owner was at the front desk and also running around doing other things himself. With the being said, he was very nice and helpful. The property and room is clean and right in downtown a short walk to the beach, dining and shops. Convenient and affordable.

Very basic but a good value

A really good value for being so close to the pier-- only about a block and a 2 block walk. The provided space heater was more than enough to keep the room warm for my early April stay. The screws of the towel rack were torn out so it was partially hanging out but otherwise the room was in very good repair and clean--Paint, tile, floor, etc. Hardly anyone was staying here, in part because it was during the week, so it was very quiet. A nice family-run vibe.

Our room was super small but clean and clean bathroom. Good to sleep. We were there for Harry's, spent the day resting. Bed was ok.

The room was cozy and comfy. Deducted 1 star cause tv would not connect. Management offered to move us into another room but we declined. Instead they offered a discount on another day stay which we accepted.

Nice location near Pismo Pier

Super quiet* Nice room. Owners very professional and helpful. Close to the famous Pismo beach. Bus stop within walking distance. I used Lyft ride service which was quick and convenient.
