Everything was amazing until the night. We turned on the light and unfortunately found roaches in the bathroom. The people and room was great if they didn't have the roaches i would give it 8 out of 10. But i would say 2 out of 10. I give 2 cause roaches migrate and can hitch long your belongs. I can handle no hot water, tv issues, or noise issues but there was none these issues. Unfortunately this is one place i won't stay again, so sorry.

I stayed in one of their cheaper rooms. It was small and basic but totally works! HD tv worked and had a lot of channels. Bathroom was very clean. Bed was comfortable.

Room was simi clean had defered maintenance on a few things ac/heater knobs missing could not adjust the room temperature. Closet doors broken, toilet was loses from the floor and the shower needs to be cleaned better. But the place was quiet that might be due to no front desk staff to be found anywhere after check in.

This is the worst stay at a hotel that I have ever had. I don't leave negative reviews but I am making an exception for the very inappropriately-named Lamplighter Inn. Issues: 1) You can't check in between midnight and 6 a.m. It is not on the rules they sent ahead of time. I learned the hard way when my flight was delayed and they said we couldn't come late. 2) The evening staff I spoke to about my situation could not stop talking or interrupting; he was extremely unsympathetic and defensive. I didn't trust him to be able to cancel one night and not the whole reservation so I just kept my whole reservation. I was able to de-escalate but then he started talking AGAIN and when I kept interjecting to get a confirmation he just kept blathering. 3) A literal hole in our wall the size of a bullet hole. 4) Black colored mold on the shower grout. 5) Door had been repainted haphazardly, so it looks like it was just smeared with chocolate sauce. 6) Pool and hot tub were visibly littered with debris, not the normal amount one sees in an outdoor pool, but looked unmaintained and closed. 7) We could hear through the walls at speaking level. Not loud TV but like regular conversation. 8) Signage is unreasonably antagonistic and paranoid, like anyone wants their over-bleached locker-room towels. 9) The coffee machine is not near an outlet that it can easily be plugged into. 10) Bathroom fan didn't work. I would rather sleep in my car.

The experience was terrible. I do NOT recommend this hotel. AC and furniture was broken, bathroom tub appeared rusted, toilet seats were broken, the room felt highly unsanitary, comforters had bodily fluid stains, walls were covered in stains throughout, deadbolt locks on doors were broken. We were moved between four different rooms and each room was the same. We left shortly after check in without receiving a refund.

The hotel is in a good area. we were just disappointed that the cleanliness just isn’t there. The shower curtain was yellow, when at one point it seemed that it used to be white and it smelled really bad. The covers on bed were stained dirty, I didn’t complain on the bed cover being stained only because the white sheets were clean. But I doubt I’d consider staying there again.

The place looks better on the outside than the inside. Do not be fooled! It was like stepping into a room not updated since 1980! The carpet was stained, the TV/wifi didn’t work well, the shower didn’t drain well, and overall the room just felt icky. I would never stay here again!

The room was adequate. Unfortunately the heater was broken. We were promised some compensation for it, but in the morning when checking out, there was no one at the front desk! We waited around for 10 minutes or so and politely called out around the lobby, but finally gave up and just left.
