We have stayed at Placid Suites many times. It is in a great location and facilities are clean. I would have given 5 stars but we had a few bumps in the road during our stay this time. The sofa leg was broken off making it unusable and therefore difficult to watch TV. The overhead light also worked about half the time which was an aggravation. I texted to report and never received a reply.

It was only for 1 night but I know I will not stay again unfortunately. I will say the owner was very thorough with explaining the process greatly appreciated that. The room we were provided was not shown on the Orbiz advertisement. There were only 2 flat pillows on the bed; there were 2 of us. No washcloths were provided. For 1 night I guess it was ok but I would hope that the owners will put a little more effort in the space for people to stay.

What a great experience it was cozy close to everything very quiet and peaceful and I needed an emergency extension due to my flight being canceled and they accommodated me!

The room was clean and very very basic. I had Rm 17, ok for solo traveler who spends no time in the room. Only disappointment was the roof-top area had no patio furniture, not even a chair, so not usable.

The room was clean and comfortable, and self check-in was easy. The location is very good—within walking distance of coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and the beach. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is that the room felt very bare. For the price, I was expecting at least a couple of bottles of water, or at minimum, cups to drink my own

The access was OK, rooms were clean, each room had individual A/C unit. This property needs few things to make it perfect: 1. Place doormats inside and outside the entrance to reduce sand. 2. Need hooks in bathrooms and near the entrance door to hang towels and other things. 3. Need more silverware, cups and glasses in the kitchen, as this property has 4 rooms, i.e. for company, not for couples. 4. Need to fix the hot water in both bathroom sinks.

I never got to see the inside of the building. In the add , they say access to the parking. I drove around the block 11 times never saw a parking or space anywhere. There is a school around the back of the place and it was crazy. I let and found a better place. That is the reason for the rating. Never again will I deal with this place.
