They said the lobby was under construction but would not affect the rest of the hotel common area or rooms. During the last two days of our 5 day stay , the power was turned off for what they said would be from 1 to 2 pm. It’s was off till 6 pm leaving us in the dark to prepare for a 6 :15 dinner at another hotel. Sometimes less expensive doesn’t pay.

We like the courtesy that is extended by the staff ,super friendly,very helpfull and very proffesional. we love the location right on the beach perfect.The rooms were very clean eventhough they are going through some remodeling. overall execellent . I would have given this property an excellent rating until our final night’s experience. Our family enjoyed a beautiful week soaking up the sun and local cuisine. Our last night we decided to order room service and enjoy a relaxing night as a family. At 10:30 in the evening there was a knock at our door. My husband looked out the peephole to see who was knocking. He didn’t see anyone so we figured it was the staff picking up our dishes from dinner. As my husband was walking back to bed the door opened. He turned around quickly and yelled “excuse me” to the gentleman trying to enter our room. The gentleman handed him a piece of paper and left. The paper said there was a problem with our payment method and we needed to contact the front desk. My husband called and the front desk attendant made some story of how our bank would not hold the $700 that the hotel requires for more than 7 days and since it was past the seven days when they went to finalize our bill the card would not work. I was on my bank app and stated that this was not true and that the hold was still on our account. The gentleman asked for my husband to come downstairs to clear this matter. My husband did, the situation with payment was resolved but the situation that we were most angry about was someone trying to enter our room. Though the staff apologized they stated that it was their policy to knock and if no one answers to come in. Needless to say I didn’t sleep that night.

It was a great stay. I just wish restaurants, bar and other things outside the hotel were closer. The amenities were great. The staff was always helpful and attentive. Our room was pretty big and we never felt like we were on top of one another. My biggest issue was the smell in the hallways. it smelled musty and like urine specifically on the 6th floor when you got off the elevator. I will definitely stay there again in the future.

One of the highlights of my stay was enjoying the breakfast buffet each morning while facing the beach. The view is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, a great way to start the day. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, I do hope the upgrades include more dining options onsite. While they have a small market with Starbucks-style offerings—coffee, bagels, quick snacks—it would be ideal to have at least one or two full-service restaurant options for lunch and dinner. Inside the casino, I was surprised by the (none) lack of poker tables. Poker is hugely popular and would absolutely draw in more customers. Currently, there are only two blackjack tables and NO craps table. Adding these games—and offering dancing or live music in the evenings—would transform the energy of the space and boost revenue. For comparison, the Sheraton offers live bands, dancing, poker, blackjack, craps, and a bustling casino experience five nights a week. That place is vibrant and fun, while the Marriott feels more geared toward families. That’s great during the day, but once kids go to bed, adults want to enjoy their night out—dancing, eating, socializing, and gaming—without having to leave the hotel. That would benefit both the guests and the Marriott’s bottom line. Parking is another area that could be more guest-friendly. Charging $25 a night for hotel guests seems steep. A more reasonable rate would be $15 for guests, while charging $30 for non-guests makes sense.

Everything you need for a great vacation!

There was a great coffee shop, fine dining and snack food options available. The lobby was beautiful and inviting to have drinks and hang out. Being right at the ocean with chairs and umbrellas available made it a perfect beach day! Who doesn’t love 24 hour pool access! We enjoyed our stay!

The property is located in a great place and has everything you need to not leave the hotel. However, we weren’t told that the hotel was under construction and were woken up by drilling in the room next door and hammers and loud construction noises in the next room over. We stayed 4 nights and would’ve loved a room that didn’t have such disturbance. We asked to pay extra for a late checkout as we had a late flight and were told it wasn’t allowed. I have stayed at this property before and never had a situation like this happen. Would recommend but do your research before hand.

The location of fine - even next to the airport. They were doing renovations/construction, but it was not that big a deal. My room didn’t have noise, but my daughter said her room did during the day. Wish Marriott gave you coffee complimentary in the mornings like a lot of independent hotels do….. it’s just about the gesture….and not coming across like everything is about profit (haha…which it is- I know). Overall though a nice vacation….we would come again.
