We didn’t get to the hotel until 2:00am and whoever was at the desk was so helpful. There isn’t an elevator so they helped us with bags while we carried our sleeping kids. The hotel was quiet and beautiful- the breakfast delicious- service was beyond- would absolutely recommend for nice retreat!

We had to check 3 rooms to finally find one with working hot water. My car was messed with at night setting off alarm. Thieves sneaking in gated door or internal problem. Mold in the vent of A/C. Bedsheet had permanent red stain on it. TV with 2 remote controls was too difficult to figure out, so didn’t use it. 3$ per coffee capsule charge is unusual.

The front desk staff was cheerful and helpful. The property itself was (apparently) new but not particularly impressive compared to other hotels I've stayed at in San Jose at the same price point. The room was good sized, but didn't have a refrigerator or microwave. There were no power outlets near the bed or on the nightstands, and only one available at or near the desk—half used by the TV. My room was in the second section, beyond the pool, and getting to it meant walking on or near the pool deck. It was treacherous in dress shoes—the tile Is light colored and smooth, and you can't see where it's wet, so it would be easy to slip. You also need to navigate past people sitting around the pool. Restaurant food was average.

Overall my stay was good. The pool area looked nice and the hotel area was clean and smelled nice. My dinner at the restaurant and service was just okay. I also didn’t realise when booking that my room didn’t have a mini fridge which was disappointing when I came back with multiple drinks from the corner store and had no where to keep them cold. The hotel is conveniently located to a corner store, Starbucks, and other fast food restaurants. It was also only a short 10-15 minute drive to anything in San Jose I had interest in checking out.

I visited KC hotel for my first trip to Costa Rica. Everyone I encountered in the staff happened to be so kind and offered excellent customer service. They seemed happy to be there and the hotel had a cozy atmosphere. The free breakfast was great and the lunch options were tasty. Overall I would stay there again great place!
