Nice clean hotel with good size rooms in an excellent location near Union Square. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only down side was the breakfast - the hotel kitchen and dining area are being refurbished and hence the usual full breakfast could not be offered.

The hotel itself is nice and well kept. However, the noise level is an issue, you can hear almost everything from the room, including housekeeping staff talking and guests in nearby rooms. The staff was wonderful, the check-in was easy, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and they were plenty of pillows. The thermostat worked well, although the fan was kind of loud. The breakfast was exceptional, the pastries were light and fresh and even the eggs were good, which is rare. I would definitely stay here again. I had a conference at the Hilton, which is just across the street, which made it so convenient to be out of the busyness of the conference and in our quiet residence next-door. I highly recommend this hotel. Plus the view was great! We had a corner room and was just lovely.
