Check in was a breeze, the woman that helped us was so friendly and extra helpful, provided excellent advice as to leave the veh parked in their free lot and take bus 28 to the warf and short walk to pier 33 for Alcatraz! Parking by the pier is $20+ per hr. The hotel was nice and clean, the beds are very comfortable. Everything you could need is a very close walk away! The only negative was you can hear everything outside, fire station is around the corner and rowdy party goers saturday night at the bars down the street so bring ear plugs if you are light sleeper. Oh and fridge does not have a freezer. Would recommend and would stay again.
