Tom's Urban Greenhouse was absolutely perfect. The check-in process was simple, the house was extremely clean and the ambience with all the plants was beautiful. We were there for four nights and didn't have one complaint. I'm glad we decided to stay here, as opposed to a hotel. We were able to experience a very cool San Diego neighborhood.

Very impressive home with everything you need. A home away from home and true gem. One thing is it was a bit hard to figure out shower knobs and was hot but it’s user error lol. Other than that iit was perfect and would definitely come back.

This was one of the best lodging experiences we’ve had. Tom’s home had everything we need and we felt so at home. There were so many thoughtfulness he put into the home. The location, walk ability, and neighborhood overall were amazing. We will definitely be back!

Clean & Amenities Galore

Very clean. Crisp white sheets. Amenities galore. Beautiful shower area. Everything smelt like tea tree oil & just overall clean air. Quiet neighborhood. The air purifier was an amazing touch and the perfect white noise we needed.

Great communication from Tom. The house is beautiful and super clean! Great, quiet little neighborhood. The backyard sitting area is a tropical delight, and even has a water feature which is a nice touch. Loved our stay and will for sure book again!

Fantastic stay in San Diego

Wonderful house with nice touches throughout for guests. We were delighted during our time spent at the Urban Greenhouse. Great location for visiting San Diego, close to Balboa Park & San Diego Zoo. Appreciated having a car charger to charge each night after a day of exploring.

We were in town for a wedding and the Urban Greenhouse was perfect for our small family and Labrador. The plants are amazing and perfectly maintained by Tom, the owner who was very pleasant and accommodating to us. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend this charming cottage in Northpark!

The proximity to Balboa Park, downtown, and the airport was important for our family when choosing a place to stay. We loved our time among all the plants!

Wonderful greenhouse!

We had an awesome and very comfortable stay here. We had four kids and all fit comfortably for a couple of days. I truly enjoyed that this felt like a lived-in home rather than just a "rental", so there was definitely a true feeling of hospitality. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and it was close to Balboa Park where we spent most of our time. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for a small family

Stayed here with our toddler and it was fantastic! Quiet location that was a quick drive to neighborhood restaurants and shops. We were never more than 20 minutes from any major San Diego attraction. The property itself is very well maintained and had more amenities than expected from the espresso machine to the air fryer as well as dishes and silverware for kids. There were even blackout shades in the bedrooms which made sleep easy for our toddler. Highly recommend for those with young ones!

If you find this available, stop looking for any other place!!

We stayed for 13 nights before departing. We’ve used various accommodation apps and stayed at many different places, but none were as comfortable and cozy as Tom’s house. This place is not just a great accommodation but a home that truly makes guests feel like they belong. Everything is thoughtfully prepared—chargers by the bed and in the living room, air purifiers in every room, and the air-cleansing plants throughout the house are an incredible touch. The large refrigerator and excellent barbecue grill are also fantastic features. Parking is convenient, and the check-in and check-out process is seamless. Tom is incredibly considerate. We sincerely wish his family endless happiness and good fortune. Goodbye, San Diego!

Perfect location

This home was perfectly located near the places we were visiting in San Diego. Our children enjoyed the comfy feeling of being at home. My daughter said she liked that the lights were on when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals. There were only two beds so my oldest did need to sleep on the very nice couch in the living room. We enjoyed the shower the most. Everything in the house was beautifully decorated. We would stay here again if we travel to So Cal in the future.

Great stay at Urban Greenhouse

We had an excellent stay at the Urban Greenhouse. The house was cozy and clean and the plants created a unique and tranquil atmosphere. We appreciated how dog-friendly the property is and enjoyed the nice and walkable neighborhood, close to lots of food options and attractions. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. We would highly recommend this place and hope to stay again in the future.
