Excellent stay. Apartment was clean and well maintained, and close to so much downtown. Parking was easy and nearby.Notes for future travelers—there is no AC in the elevator and it gets very hot and musty. Also, there is a TON of noise at night from the street. Closing the bedroom door helps a ton, but if you’re a light sleeper maybe reconsider.Overall lovely stay!

2 zoos, 2 parks, 1 beach

Property was very clean and comfortable. I chose it because I like old buildings and proximity to public transportation: buses on Broadway or trolley on C St go to airport, Balboa Park, Ocean Beach and Old Town. Hosts were great in communicating with me every step of the way. Kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed TV in the evening. Important to know that this apartment is in front of the building on 5th Avenue where there are a lot of night clubs. My mother and I are sound sleepers, it was quieter in the bedroom and the hosts provided ear plugs.

Nice place...but

This apartment was definitely spacious, which is exactly what I was looking for, but it needs some attention. Whole building, including apartment, was very musty and dusty. My allergies were going crazy by the end of our visit. It could also use a good cleaning, especially the rugs, bathroom and the air conditioning vents. It was a welcome touch that the hosts added a noise machine to the main sleeping area as the music was kind of loud to the early hours of morning on weekend, but it didn't work on the noise coming from apartment above. Overall, we did enjoy our stay here, just parts of it were a bit frustrating.
