enjoyed our stay

This hotel (lodge) has a family feel. Our room was large and clean. The bathroom was a bit small with toilet and shower very close, but water was hot and with sink outside of bathroom, no real problem. We had an excellent buffet dinner - nothing fancy, just tasty salmon and other choices. Breakfast buffet also very good with variety of options. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. The only negative was lack of elevator.

Great hotel close to the Arctic Circle

I felt like an awaited guest rather than a customer. Torbjørn showed me immediately to my room and let me know what was being served for supper. I chose the pork neck because I never had any before. Sissil let me eat in the sitting room with a grand view of the afternoon sun on the mountains and marvelous classical music playing instead of the dining area. They were ever so accommodating! Sissil even let me know that the Northern Lights were out. The room was quite large as was the wonderful bathroom. Best of all, it was only 20 minutes to the Arctic Circle Visitors' Centre that I truly wanted to visit, and was able to twice because of the hotel's close proximity. I wish I could have stayed another day or 2 and explored the local area. It was quite quiet, and I enjoyed a great night's sleep. Breakfast was quite good with lots of variety. I'll stay there the next time I'm in the area.

Super vriendelijk ontvangen door de receptionist-eigenaar-kok en wat hij nog meer in zijn mars heeft 😎. Het hotel is wat gedateerd, maar we hebben ons laten vertellen dat het later gerenoveerd wordt. Het is al een prachtplek, en het zal er alleen maar beter op worden. Succes ermee!

Fint hotel i naturskønne omgivelser

Hotellet er primært et skihotel så vi var der 2 nætter i lavsæsonen. Værelset var stort (dog er badeværelset ret lille) med to senge, sofa, lænestole og skrivebord. Startrengøringen var fin, men der var dog ingen rengøring i løbet af opholdet. Hotellet har ingen restaurant udover morgenmad (inkluderet i prisen) som var ganske udemærket. Aftensmad kunne findes 12 min kørsel fra hotellet. Hotellet ligger tæt på flere fine vandreruter i et naturskønt område.

Hotellet bærer preg av å være et gammelt hotell. Mye slitasje over det meste, men sengene var gode, så vi sov godt. Det var god service, men corona situasjonen gjør jo mange ting vanskeligere. Frokosten var som forventet etter dette. Takk til hotellverten.
