I was in town for a sports tournament. I was travelling alone and meeting up with a group, and took some time to do some sightseeing. The owner communicated well, checking in that everything was o.k. a number of times, sent detailed instructions on how to access the property, and quickly answered a couple of questions I had.
The condo was great for a single person. Full sized fridge to keep some food, space in the kitchen to cook or prepare food with a view into the living room area. I did meet up with my son for the last night and he stayed over and it was good, but I'd guess if we were spending a lot of time inside or if it was sharing a place with with someone besides family or a good friend, it might be a bit small. The air conditioning works extremely well - I keep my place warm during the summer at home and was shivering when I got in, but bumped the thermostat about 15 degrees higher and it was super comfortable.
The location was pretty good. I'd never been to Salt Lake City before, so I was unfamiliar with the layout. The immediate area is nice and seemed safe walking at night. Very residential area, and quiet. I used public transport most of the time, and it was about a 5-8 minute walk to a bus that was maybe 15 minutes to downtown, or a 8-10 minute walk to the green line train to head one stop to the airport or directly downtown. If you have a car, the whole city is accessible pretty easily from this location. Grocery stores and restaurants were nearby too.
