NOT EVERYTHING IS GOOD FOR TRAVELERS. NO TODO VALE

We stayed 4 people in March of 2019. Very bad room. Where it was on the second floor, it looked like a warehouse instead of a hotel. The floor was full of holes in the wood, the bathroom had a screen with black borders, which was very disgusting and the heating did not work and above the window was open and the room was very cold and we had to sleep in a sweater. They did not want to change our room and we slept as we could. The next morning we were denied breakfast even though it was included and we had to call hotels.com to fix it (customer service was quickly sorted out). Very bad experience I can not recommend this hotel. If you do not want problems, look for another hotel. Gentlemen in charge of the hotel: not everything goes for tourism. Nos alojamos 4 personas en Marzo de 2019. Muy mala habitación. Donde estaba en el segundo piso, parecía un almacén en lugar de un hotel. El suelo estaba lleno de agujeros en la madera, el baño tenia una mampara con bordes negros, que daba mucho asco y no funcionaba la calefacción y encima la ventana estaba abierta y en la habitación hacía mucho frio y tuvimos que dormir con jersey. No nos quisieron cambiar de habitación y dormimos como pudimos. A la mañana siguiente nos negaron el desayuno a pesar de que estaba incluido y tuvimos que llamar a hoteles.com para solucionarlo (atención al cliente nos lo solucionaron rápidamente). Muy mala experiencia. No puedo recomendar este hotel. Si no quieres problemas busca otro hotel.

Great place

Great place with kids as they have a bus turned into a play area. Dinner and drinks were also great. Unfortunately our room had a plumbing issue and the water pipes made a loud sound every 4-5 minutes all night long. We barely slept as a result which made for a very long travel day the following day.

Do not stay - truly awful, dirty and rude staff

Do not stay here!! It is dirty, bugs in the bedsheets, dirty towels, we complained and were refused a refund or alternative accommodation and had to go elsewhere at huge expense. Unbelievably rude and I actually can't believe this place is allowed to run as a business. The pictures of the shepherds huts were very deceiving, they are run down and smelly and generally grubby.

Amazing anniversary trip

Great little place

The woman dealing with our check in was quite rude. But she also said she was leaving soon. No loss. The rest of the team were amazing and the food was surprisingly great. There was a party on in the evening and we thought it may keep us awake, but it all stopped by midnight and we had a good nights sleep. We would have liked to have had breakfast there, but they don’t provide it.

Cute but compact!

Quirky place to stay. Very little space, the pictures online make it look much bigger than it is and that’s ok as you’d expect in a converted carriage but for the money you pay it’s not a lot of room at all. Doesn’t even include breakfast! If you like quirky and it’s a short stay it’s ok.

The room was rather small and the windows opened over the garbage area behind the pub. Thankfully, it didn't smell. The room itself was clean, but the bathroom was a bit dirty. If you are going to Stonehenge, the location really can't be beat.

Absolutely LOVED the Stonehenge theme! Loved the little park and the mural in our room! The restaurant was quite good and well priced. My kids loved playing on the bus after eating.

Friendly staff. A cooked breakfast would be better but they dobt provide. Food wasnt that great in pub in the evenibg lacked flavour and needed spices,even a bit of garlic abd chilli sauce to give the veggie chilli aome flavour .

Nice place to visit.

Booked one of the converted railway carriages. Was nicely set out with good quality linen and a comfortable bed. Shower was effective and clean. There were some benches outside the carriage and the other guests were friendly as well as the staff. It is very convenient for Stonehenge which was the reason we stayed but would be tempted to visit again as a stop off on the way to the West Country. The railway carriage was comfortable but cosy/small as would be expected but might be something to consider if planning a longer than one night stay.

Functional room

It was an experience. It was a functional room near Stonehenge, which is what we wanted. The tv plug did not reach the outlet, the shower curtain and window shades werent secured to the walls and fell easily (they were on tension rods), beds weren't great. Men's toilet in the pub downstairs was filthy. But it was also fine? It got the job done.
