Nestled on the banks of the South Arkansas River in Maysville, Colorado, this charming vintage duplex cabin offers a unique retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The Salida duplex cabin, with its authentic 1950's decor, transports guests to a simpler time, offering a chance to reconnect with nature and each other. Each side of the duplex features 2 full-size beds, providing comfortable accommodations. As part of our commitment to providing a truly relaxing experience, our cabins are currently free from TVs, have limited cell phone and internet services. Instead, guests can enjoy the tranquil sounds of the river, the warm Colorado sunshine, and the beauty of the surrounding environment. Experience the magic of Colorado in our vintage riverside duplex cabin, a place to truly unplug, relax, and rejuvenate. Cabin #8: Shavano Cabin offers an open-concept 2-bedroom, 1-bath layout.

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, salt and pepper, coffee filters and laundry soap.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. 24 to 48 hours before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest.

**This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $1000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund. 14 to 29 days prior to arrival 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, spotty internet service or interruption of service.

Good stay! The place is nice with the sound of the creek nearby. The cabin cooled off nicely at night. Super old school spot. Could use a few more decent bowls, plates and glasses. The porch sitting is awesome and I’d love to see more comfy seating out there. It’s a place in progress but has got great “bones”

The property was more remote than we expected. Old appliances. If you plan to grill - be sure to bring BBQ briquets, lighter fluid and a lighter. Very peaceful, quiet setting. There was no microwave. We were able to use the Wi-Fi - without it, no phones.

Cozy cabin by the river

We enjoyed this cabin immensely for our long ski weekend. It was so cozy and the fire a-blazing made for an incredibly warm and relaxing atmosphere. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was well equipped to allow us to prep our dinners and breakfasts. The proximity to Monarch, Salida, and the river were ideal. The host, Charles, was attentive and friendly. We will be back!!

Perfect spot for a getaway.

We went on our 20th wedding anniversary for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay! Our cabin was steps away from a running creek and we left the bedroom windows open at night for the sound of the running water. It was quiet and close to Salida. We will definitely stay here again! If you want to unplug and have a relaxing stay...this is the place.

A foretaste of heaven

The cabin is situated right on the river with mountains in the background. You couldn’t ask for a more peaceful and relaxing environment. The property host is friendly and available. We love this place!!!!!
