The house is beautiful. The view was amazing. However the hot water system is terrible. We could only have about 2 or 3 showers a day. Pretty poor considering the house sleeps up to 11 people we had about nine people staying and in the five days I had two showers because there was no hot water. There is also a rude lady two houses up . The oven was hard to use and the dishwasher does not clean things .

The property was amazing, we swam, fished and walk along the beach. Grass area good for children games. We were disappointed that the spa bath did not work, after filling up the bath, then putting the 4 children in who were very excited, then a big let down.

Family get together

Beautiful location. This location was chosen as it was close to where my family used to live. And was a special trip to scatter our parent’s ashes in the places that they loved.For a house that was advertised to cater for 12 people, the kitchen and its facilities was poorly appointed - not enough bench space and seating around the dining table. The dishwasher was dirty when it was first opened. The lounge room was not large enough for everyone to sit around and very disappointed about the fireplace and statement that it was under maintenance- we should have been made aware of this prior to spending additional money on firewood. Only one ensuite upstairs with 4 bedrooms was not ideal.

Birthday celebration

We enjoyed our few days at Salamander Bay and the house is lovely. We filled the house to capacity with 8 adults, 4 kids and a baby. The only downside was the lack of an upstairs bathroom with only the ensuite off the main bedroom. Otherwise it is a great location and the organisation of the booking was seamless.

Outstanding views and dolphins too

Fabulous house on the waterfront where you can walk out onto the beach 10m from your back terrace - beautiful rooms with everything you need to have a great time with family and friends. Morning light is beautiful and seeing the dolphins go past is just magic.

We enjoyed our stay with our family of 11 to celebrate my husband’s 85th birthday. Weather was beautiful. Location suited my 96 year old Dad very well. Would recommend this house.
