Stone and wood cabin on the hills of Sala Comacina, set in a truly unique natural setting, ideal for those looking for an escape into the nature of the hills of Lake Como. Perfect for couples, families or groups of friends who love the outdoors and want to explore the surroundings while enjoying evenings in quiet nature. It is part of a context of two recently renovated cabins, both accessible through a dirt road that can only be used with a small off-road vehicle. From the huts it is possible to reach the Greenway dei Laghi, farmhouses, mountain bike trails, the famous Cima di Sala, and much more.
The two cabins have been renovated to offer two different types of experience: Mariett more “minimal”, dedicated to those who want to enjoy a vacation with friends in a more rustic environment that can accommodate up to 5 people; La Lidia , more refined, with a more elegant renovation capable of comfortably accommodating 4 people in two separate rooms plus a fifth on a sofa bed. The outdoor garden offers an incredible panoramic view.
The Mariett Hut is on two levels. The ground floor with kitchenette and dining table opens at the back to the outdoor relaxation area and barbecue; a small staircase leads to the wooden loft, where there is a sofa bed for one and a half. The sleeping area has been created in the basement; here are the bedroom with double bed, the room with two single beds and the bathroom with sink, toilet, bidet and shower. The hot water is supplied by an 80-liter electric boiler.
It is designed to offer a comfortable stay while being in a rustic setting: beds with comfortable mattresses, Wi-Fi, and everything you need for a full stay: kitchen equipped with dishes for cooking and dining, oven and electric plates, coffee maker, kettle, hairdryer.
It is important to emphasize that our offer is for a genuine experience in a mountain cabin, in direct contact with nature; the cabin can be reached with a small off-road vehicle, a quad, a mountain bike or on foot through a path in some parts steep cobblestone of about 700 meters; we always clean and check the house, but in nature it is possible that some insect friends can find refuge in the house; let's hope that these characteristics will be interpreted as a plus, which will allow our guests to enjoy an experience really immersed in nature .
The cabin is delivered complete with sheets and towel sets for all guests, and a welcome kit consisting of oil, salt, pepper, coffee, pods, shampoo, shower gel, dishwashing liquid and toilet paper. Being in an area that is difficult to reach, we decided to offer a small Trust Shop available to guests, with essential goods that can be purchased on the spot .
The cabin is managed by Nativoo, a benefit company that pursues measurable and concrete sustainability objectives in its statute. It is part of the NativooForGood project that pursues sustainable development objectives for short rentals in the territory of Lake Como and Valsassina. City Tax: € 1,00 per person per night to pay at check-in for a maximum of 7 nights
Tourist tax: 🏷️ TOURIST TAX
In accordance with local regulations, the Municipality may apply a tourist tax.
The tax must be paid prior to check-in, during the online registration process. The amount is calculated automatically by the system after entering the guest details.
Failure to pay the tourist tax, if applicable, may result in the cancellation of the reservation, as it is a mandatory requirement set by the Municipality. Check-in: Check-in at the property is allowed only after all guests have been registered and the contract has been signed. The standard check-in window is from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM; guests are kindly requested to send a message at least 12 hours in advance, specifying a 30-minute time slot for their expected arrival.  
For late check-in, availability must be confirmed by sending a request to the House Manager.  
Where available, guests may opt for self check-in; however, in this case, they must contact the property to arrange an in-person meeting within the following 24 hours.
