Wonderful place - balm for the soul

The little house is absolutely beautiful and the surrounding property is beautiful and completely quiet. Only sounds are from the birds and the two donkeys, who tell you that they wouldn't mind some carrots now and then:-) Monique and her husband are perfect hosts and make you feel very welcome. We would love to come back another time.

Quaint and comfortable

Our family of five and our small dog had a wonderful, unique stay in this home. Our hostess, Monique warmly greeted us with a basket of goodies from the area, and explained everything about the home even though we speak different languages. The distance from Aigues-Mortes made going into town easy for eating out. My husband especially enjoyed running through the vineyards surrounding the property. We highly recommend a visit.

Wonderful hosts and wonderful location

This is a perfect location to explore the magical Camargue nature and wildlife as well as delve into the historical significance of the region. It’s the sweet spot for historians who love birds and nature. Beaches are accessible in 20 to 30 minutes by car, bakery and supermarket in 10 minutes.Monique and Andre were perfect hosts and there to support when needed. Despite our lack of French language skills we had some lovely conversations so that when we left we felt like we were leaving friends rather than hosts.The house was spotless, still in more traditional design, but everything worked well and it was easy to get into the holiday feeling almost immediately.This is in a conservation area, so you are close to nature and the noises of frogs and insects at night. The house has mosquito netting on the doors and windows, it also has enough devices to fend off mosquitoes inside, but bring repellent for going out, especially to the conservation areas in the region.There is a fence around the property and there are boundaries between the living area and the natural grass and trees. These boundaries are not going to stop a dog who loves to explore.And finally there is the lovely and friendly donkey that loves to be stroked and eat carrots.In summary - would go here at the earliest opportunity again. No ifs or buts.

Un merveilleux séjour dans une maison de vacances de charme

Un cadre magnifique et paisible a contribué à des vacances reposantes. Le chalet est équipé de toutes les commodités (modernes) dont vous avez besoin. Le jardin offre calme et tranquillité et des endroits avec du soleil et de l'ombre. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et serviables et joignables en cas de besoin. Le gîte est situé au milieu de la Camargue, avec à une courte distance Aigues Mortes et des commodités telles que supermarché et restaurants. De nombreux sites dans la région et une nature magnifique.

Gîte typique au calme, bien situé

Ce gîte typique est très bien situé pour permettre les visites d'Aigues Mortes, de Nîmes, Arles, Montpellier et bien sûr de la Camargue. Il était par ailleurs très propre. Le très grand terrain clôturé a fait la joie de notre chienne.Nous avons apprécié les très bons produits élaborés par le fils de Monique qui est traiteur.Il est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de canapé ou fauteuil confortable. A noter l'absence de portes pour les chambres qui sont fermées par des rideaux épais

Zauberhaftes Haus in wunderschönem Gelände

Das Haus liegt außerhalb. Man braucht ein Auto oder Fahrräder. Es ist sehr ruhig. Das Gelände ist traumhaft: Weitläufig, mit Seen und Esel, mit dem sich in unserer Hund direkt angefreundet hat. Überhaupt ist es optimal für Hunde. Das Land ist rundherum eingezäunt. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben. Allerdings ist es im Original besser als auf den Bildern. Die Vermieter sind hilfsbereit und zurückhaltend. Sehr angenehm.

Viel Ruhe in der Natur

Einfache rustikale Unterkunft mit Komfort wie Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine und Mikrowelle. Nach Aigures Mortes sind es ca. 5 km, zum Meer (je nach Wunsch zwischen 7 und 17 km). Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und sehr zurückhaltend, wohnen auf dem gleichen Grundstück und doch ist man für sich allein. Das Auto kann direkt vor der Terrasse stehen und nebenan kommt von Zeit zu Zeit der Esel Querida zum Gucken. Alles sehr unkompliziert.

Splendida struttura in meravigliosa natura

Accueil très sympathique de Monique. Petits souvenirs de bienvenu très apprécié. On s'est senti très vite comme à la maison. Très bien équipé, très propre. Environnement calme, ombragé et spacieux. Idéal pour nos compagnons à 4 pattes. Nous avons tous passé un agréable séjour dans la Cabane du gardian. Merci à Monique et son mari pour leur accueil chaleureux et la petite surprise du dimanche matin. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir dans ce lieu très agréable.

Vraiment top ,lieu idyllique et accueil naturel..les hôtes on plein d'intention a l'arrivée et pendant le séjour ( genre panier garni de produits locaux et au réveil venoiserie divers) Nous sommes venus avec nos deux chiens ( berger allemand) et aucun soucis pour nos hôtes Ils ne mentent pas ,comme certains pour attirer les clients...merci encore à eux et leurs gentillesse

Escapade Camarguaise en pleine nature

Nous avons adoré séjourner dans ce très joli cabanon de gardian. Encore merci pour le très bon accueil de Monique. Le charmant cabanon très bien agencé. La literie est bonne et le calme absolu. Nous avons même eu droit à une petit panier des produits locaux dans le frigo ainsi que les viennoiseries du dimanche matin. La propriété au bord des étangs dans une belle nature est bien clôturée et nous avons pu en profiter avec notre chien qui s'est pris d'affection pour l'ânesse. Bref, que du bonheur.

Der Aufenthalt war tip top. Monique war sehr nett bei der Schlüsselübergabe. Garten war leider nicht so umzäunt wie wir uns das vorgestellt hatten mit unseren Hund. Das Häuschen selber hat keinen privaten eingezäunten Garten. Wäre noch gut in der Beschreibung zum erwähnen. Ansonsten war alles top! Sehr sauberes Haus!

La Camargue en vrai et sans la foule

excellent gite camarguais et des hôtes très accueillants. tranquillité, espace infini et pourtant à 2 km d'un grand site touristique ( Aigues-Mortes) et 7 km de la mer au Grau du Roi. Idéal. Ne pas oublier les boules de pétanque.

Magnifique endroit

Accueil tres agreable de monique puis son mari. Une petite surprise nous attendait dans le frigo, une tapenade faite Par Monique sublime. Environnement calme et reposant. Nous n'avons pas eu de chance avec la meteo mais avril c'est toujours un coup de poker. Emplacement parfait a cote de tout. J'etaos egalment accompagne de mes 2 chiens qui ont adore l'endroit. Discrete et a l'écoute Monique et André nous ont accueilli dans leur petite maison a toit de chaume. Il ne manqué que les sept nains pour se croire dans un conte de fée ! Les croissants nous ont était offert avec un petit panier gourmet de bienvenue. C'était un très beau séjour loin du stress et de la pollution.

Immersion au cœur de la Camargue gardoise

Maison camarguaise très typique et confortable. Deux petits bémols cependant il manque un canapé pour le soir pour lire ou regarder la télé et l’ouverture de la chambre en mezzanine sur la chambre en arrondi ce qui peut gêner si la lumière d’une des deux chambres reste allumée plus tard surtout avec des enfants
