Loved it!

The house was beautiful and spacious! Loved the interior design while still being minimal (which is good when the kids want to get into everything). Location is phenomenal and host was responsive. Will definitely stay again

Perfect Getaway

The house was perfect and we loved the layout! The views of the marsh were stunning, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck daily. Having the golf cart was a plus, as we used it to haul our gear to the beach. Loved that it was pet friendly!

Great place at Harbor

This beach cottage is clean and has all the amenities a family would need at the beach. An added bonus was it being pet friendly. We have gone to Harbor for years and this was one of our favorite stays.

Beautiful Marsh View

The view from the back deck is breathtaking. We had a couple issues but the owner is wonderful to work with. The refrigerator is super fancy but we prefer one that produces more ice. We bought ice trays and left them there. This house has a ton of storage space which is great. They have blankets to cover the furniture and bed but I don’t think people use them like they should. It is nice to have the golf cart for taking rides and going to the beach. Please pick up after your dog if you bring them because it make those of us that do look bad.

Pros: comfortable bed Nice kitchen ( very well equipped) Large dining area Hot shower water Plenty of parking space Nice golf cart to use Neighborhood is quite and secure Lovely property outside Cons: The house looked like it had not been cleaned. If it had it was a bad job of it. There was dust on everything There was dust and pet hair ball the size of baseballs under some of the furniture and easy to spot The front door had spiderwebs and dead insects all around i The furniture was nice but dated Some written instructions on how to adjust the thermostat would have been help. We are senior citizens and not up on the latest electronics. We did find out by trial and error. Over two days. All in all we would stay there again in the future.

Serene and clean

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was beautifully clean, well appointed and met our expectations. The hosts were professional and easy to communicate with. The efforts to account two dogs were great.

Beautiful, nature filled stay

We loved the location. Right over the marsh and short walk to secluded part of the beach. Bonus to have the golf cart and free pass to the State Park on Hunting Island. Kitchen was well equipped and plenty of beach chairs / towels. Could easily spend a week here.

Family Vacation

We had a great stay at the Nautical cottage! Loved that they had so much we needed and could use - a high chair, pack n play, beach chairs, etc. the golf cart was fun for us to use as well. this was our first time to Harbor Island but won’t be last! This house is very convenient to the beach and pools too!

The perfect retreat

Our host was quickly responsive; we had everything we could have ever needed; plenty of activities to keep everyone busy and the views were breath taking. We will surely return to this spacious and welcoming home.

Charming & peaceful

We thoroughly enjoyed our harbor island stay at this lovely home. The view of the marsh was peaceful & relaxing. The beach was beautiful to walk each morning. We enjoyed nearby Hunting island state park. House was well stocked and we appreciated the use of the golf cart.

Loved our visit

This gated community is wonderful! We loved how peaceful and quiet the community was, even has a dog park! Our favorite part and mainly why I booked this cottage was the view! Love the marsh view and you can even see the ocean! The walk to the beautiful clean beach was so short. We would love to come back.

Beach House Getaway

My brother and I grew up vacationing on Hunting Island when we were kids. After 15+ years we wanted to go back for a little nostalgia, fishing, and food. The house was clean, spacious, and accommodating. Being provided with the use of a Gator-like cart for zipping around the property and to the beach as well as the Unlimited State Park pass were greatly appreciated. The sleeping arrangements were comfy with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. The living room had an excellent TV and nice couch to unwind on after day spent at the beach or on the pier. The deck had fantastic sunrise views and the grill was a nice touch for the fresh shrimp we had purchased just down the road. No real knocks against the house except the dining room chairs, while funky, are not the most comfortable after sitting for a bit. All in all, we loved it down here visiting Saint Helena Island, Beaufort, Hunting Island and would definitely come back and stay again.

Fantastic property in a beautiful setting!

We had such a fantastic long weekend at this property! It was so comfortable and relaxing, really nice decor, great common spaces and super comfortable bedding for a great night sleep. The view from the deck was gorgeous and it felt really private. Really fun to have access to the golf cart and the little touches like shampoo in the bathroom were appreciated. The kitchen was really well stocked. It was a great stay and I can’t wait to come back!

A clean, comfortable and beautiful home halfway between the ocean and the pool!

Perfect size home for a family or three couples. Everything seemed brand new from the furniture to the appliances to the golf cart! Amazing peaceful view from the back deck and even a private neighborhood pool! Will be coming back.

A Retreat for All

Our family just returned from our very first extended stay in South Carolina, and we couldn't have asked for a better home to stay in! It was a multi-generational family vacation with grandparents, parents and teen/tween children. Everyone enjoyed the home and the surrounding amenities and attractions. We are nature people, so we loved sitting on the deck with a view of the marsh and ocean, bird and star watching! It was nice to have easy access to both the beach and pools, and use of the golf cart was especially helpful. The homeowners were wonderfully organized and communicative. If we ever return to SC, we would certainly consider another stay here and recommend it to those interested in a peaceful retreat in a charming community and island!

Absolutely Lovely!

We had a great time staying here! The house was clean and well stocked with all of the essentials in the kitchen and bathrooms. The owners provided extra touches to make our stay that much more comfortable (beach towels, extra blankets in every room, park pass, golf cart, and more!).The view from the balcony was spectacular and the location was convenient to the beach access. We would definitely recommend staying here and would absolutely book again!
