There was only one woman doing everything, reception, breakfast, drinks etc. She was only there for a few hours in the morning and then between 4-8pm. She was severely overworked but she was lovely but you need more than one member of staff. When she wasn’t there you were totally on your own. Nowhere to have food or drink and the local village was grim and lacking in decent restaurants. The mosquitos were awful, I was eaten alive! Although the room looked clean there was a terrible smell in my room, I even bought air freshener but that only made the terrible smell orange scented. It was so bad it kept me awake. Also no lift so unless you are on the ground floor you had an assent on Mount Fuji to get to your room. Not for me!
