My husband and I love hunting and fishing in the Allagash area, and we've stayed at several different places over the years. This place is reasonably priced with just the right amount of comfort for 2 active adults. There is plenty of room to park a truck with a boat & trailer in tow, and the back deck with a large grill and fire pit were very relaxing at the end of the day. The floors in the bedrooms could use a little TLC, and the window AC units are pretty noisy when it rains on them, but overall it was a nice place to spend the long weekend.

Meets the needs

Home was clean, pots and pans very limited though. Floors in the bigger bedroom area very soft. Great location, deck and grill were nice.

Bird hunting trip

The property was accurately described in the write up. It is a good place to stay compared to other places we have visited in the area. We slept in the double bed the first night but had to move to another room because the bed was uncomfortable. The property was generally clean but could have used some dusting and better lighting.
