The hotel was in a very convenient location—close to the airport, with easy freeway access, and plenty of nearby shopping and restaurants. My room was clean, the hallways and hotel were quiet, and I had no trouble finding parking at night. They offer complimentary breakfast, a small area with snacks and drinks for purchase, and the staff were great!

The problem was the room. The first room was not bad, however, the heating/AC unit did not work properly. The control unit could not be adjusted and instead of proving heat it was working as AC when the setting was 75F. There were no instructions in the room for operating the control unit on the wall. We were moved to a different room after complaining about it and the second room was OK. The heating/AC unit worked but it was quite noisy when started and at times it worked as an AC first although the temperature was set at 74F and then it would stop and few minutes later would work as a heating unit. The vanity in the second room did not drain quickly and the water pressure of the shower was not that great. I think this is the second or third time I am staying at this hotel and I think it could be the last. The hotel is in a very convenient place and looks fine, but these small matters make the stay annoying. One other thing I would like to mention is that the rooms had no soaps for washing hands and we were given small tubes of body wash gel for that. I was told that the soap was ordered but had not arrived yet. I believe the management of the hotel should pay more attention to these small matters because there many other hotels in the area who could attract dissatisfied customers. I hope you would provide me with a discount to compensate for these problems.

The staff in the front desk was terrible. and rude.I was treated like some homeless begging for food. Why should it be that way? I am a fully paid customer. This staff had NO consideration at all. I stayed there with friends to attend my girlfriend’s bday celebration held at their event hall I was given the worst treatment ever as I forgot my CA ID . It was a hectic day and I totally forgot my ID and I was turned away . I pleaded with that person Sam, tried to give what I have on hand, it was a human error, but showed no compassion. I asked for the Manager on duty hoping he/she could make exceptions since the room is already paid in full, but he said there was NO MANAGER. How is that possible? I also showed a picture of my ID on my phone with my face and all information that matches my reservations, just the code should be enough to check in. The Front desk person’s name was SAM, I will never forget that face and name. In addition I showed him other forms of ID, a Costco card with my picture on it , another is my Medical insurance card and also the code that was sent to me when I tried to check in early. My friends showed their IDs and credit card to support the check in process . My girlfriend who was the event planner for that night even tried to plead with him and yet he didn’t allow me to check in. Everything was paid the day before through Expedia. My girlfriend used her card for the deposit of $100 and it hasn’t been reimbursed as I am writing.

Went swimming with soccer team, we were about 5 different families, around 7p no towels available at the pool. We had to retrieve towels from the front desk. The breakfast was ok, about 9am there was no refills of a lot of the food. It was clean but no one was refills the potatoes, eggs, condiments. In addition, the guest next door to mine was up loud partying and was disturbing. Fortunately we were heavy sleepers and didnt loose sleep. We woke up early and left, place was clean, and conveniently located near shopping and food.

Poor overall experience

Final night of stay, several people admitted into adjacent room (shated door). They were loud to the point i had to first call, then TWICE go to the front desk, all between midnight and 1 am. A dog was barking in the room two separate times. Next morning i relayed my concerns on checkout and was told there were no dogs allowed (dog was barking, not on TV) and that they were sorry I had a poor night. No attempt at resolution or customer service reparations. Other notes: -fridge did not work, smelled sour. -no smoke detector in room, just hanging wires. -poor quality sheets and towels. Noticeably cheap. Hotel looks nice, but shows wear and lack of upkeep. Terrible customer service ensures I will take future travel to another location/chain.
