Staff were very friendly and helpful during my stay. Room was big and clean. Bathroom was clean with good water pressure and hot water. Walking distance to Sun Plaza, where you can get the funicular train to the cable car station to Fansipan and back, can easily walk to Sapa centre/church and lake. The only thing you have to take note is that it is a stairs only hotel, no elevator - I already knew this when I booked and was fine with it.

The service is exceptional! The owner of the hotel was hands on from the day we arrived till the day we checked out at about 3am. (We had an early drive to Halong). He also offered to give us the on the go mini breakfast since we had to check out really early. The lady cleaner was so kind and assists us when she sees that we need help with the room. The hotel is in a good location. It is across the mini grocery store and next to the massage place. You can also walk to the train going to the cable car to fansipan (use the stairs for shortcut). The hotel offers all tickets back and forth to fansipan with no extra charge, same price as the train and cable car. They also offer laundry service if you ask them. I will come back again to this hotel just to experience the great service!

Sa Pa Garden Hotel is close to the center of town. Good restaurants are within 2 minutes walking. The best massage is right next door at Rose Massage Spa. Breakfast was very good. Our rooms were large with beautiful views of Sa Pa and mountains.

A real gem!

We were so fortunate to have chosen the SaPa Garden Hotel. The host running the establishment was amazing. His attentiveness was outstanding. His ability to connect us to the people and activities we sought, made our stay perfect. Even beyond our SaPa town stay, our host graciously handled our transportation arrangements for the next step in our journey. This was our third trip to SaPa and the location of this property was perfect with lovely views from the breakfast patio. We will remember this visit with smiles always.

Stay for vacation here for 5 days 4 night, this hotel is simple and very clean, the service is excellent, i would definitely go back to this hotel. Only walking distance to sapa station if you want to go fansipan, location is good near restaurants, and local activities. If you go to sapa, better stay at this hotel.

Decent hotel with inconsistencies to work on

This is a four star review for a two night stay. This is a good hotel with inconsistencies that can easily be fixed. The largest disappointment came from being refused late checkout in a hotel that was very empty (housekeeping leaves all the rooms open as they clean them, and we were practically the only guests in the hotel). The hotel manager gave no logic for refusing late checkout but did offer us tea and to use a shower after checkout. Room: Had a soft and comfortable bed, a safe, balcony, and fridge. The room itself was a five star room, however the bathroom had a dirty towel folded up as if it was clean when we arrived. See attached photo. This was a nasty surprise but can be easily avoided as this was a very clean hotel otherwise. Toiletry bottles were mini and not full.The hair drier in 302 did not work and is dangerous as it heats up and short circuits because the fan function within it is not working. Basically a toaster. Breakfast: Highlight of the property. Had the chicken noodle soup both mornings with very fresh fruit. Eggs also an option. Area: Good spot which is up the hill away from the main strip leading to more quiet but also more walking to get to things. Close to Sapa Station. Our tour guide explained Sa Pa is a town developed in the last 10 years to exploit the neighbouring indigenous areas and mountains. Would stay in the mountains next time for a more authentic experience. Value: one of our more expensive stays
