This tranquil retreat is is located on 9-acres atop Candlers Mountain less than 2 minutes from Liberty University and minutes from dining, entertainment, and leisure of the Lynchburg Virginia region.
The two-room accommodation includes craftsman-farmhouse character & modern amenities. Rest in the comfortable queen bed, full bathroom with walk-in glass shower. Guests enter into the private sitting area and office workspace. The guest bedroom suite is directly connected to the private sitting room and office. This accommodation comfortably sleeps two people and is accessible on the ground floor of the residence. No smoking is permitted on this property.
The retreat was built and opened in 2024. The suite includes luxury wood-plank flooring and the bathroom has a unique tile pattern and full glass walk-in shower. Located just up the hill from the Liberty University campus, guests can also easily access downtown Lynchburg Virginia, the Bluff Walk, Amazement Square, Blackwater Creek Trail, Appomattox, Poplar Forest, Bedford, and many other attractions in the region.

Our hosts were very accommodating and the stay was quite pleasant as we needed a spot that was close to Liberty’s campus while we visited our daughter. It helped to have a pet friendly option as well and the space was beautiful and modern. The bed was extremely comfortable! The rain style shower head felt like a luxury. Arriving to a decorated and lit Christmas tree was also a nice touch. Highly recommend!

Well priced, nice, clean and simple place to stay. We stayed here passing through Lynchburg, Va for one night. Directions to the place and for the place were very clear. Host was quick to respond to questions. Thank you for the water and treats. The breakfast recommendation for the Courthouse Cafe in Rustburg, Va was most excellent. We would stay there again.
