Lovely

Cute cottage, loved the surrounding area and ease of access to other southern destinations from close rail station. Lovely wood burner kept us warm but radiators are supplied if that’s not your thing. Choice of decor very tasteful and suits the property well.

Perfect peaceful base for all types of activities

The cottage is beautifully set up and comfortable. We sat out each evening, played the garden games, sleep very comfortably, and felt extremely welcomed by the owners. Plenty of good food options in the area as well as historic sites, shopping and countryside. Loved how the cottage was renovated with attention to its history. Thank you!

Delightful cottage

We enjoyed our stay in Rose Cottage. The weather was kind so we were able to spend much of our time in the lovely garden and ate our meals outside too. The cottage is full of character and very well equipped. Its situation is within easy reach of Portsmouth and many other seaside resorts. We found the hosts, Stacey and Giles, extremely helpful and friendly.

The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, a wonderful and characterful location that's also supremely relaxing and charming. Well appointed and exquisitely decorated it's the perfect location for a short or long break. Giles was an absolute star getting us checked in, helping with firewood during the stay and even going above and beyond and helping our daughter get entry when we were elsewhere with the key!We can't recommend this cottage enough and will remember a long evening around the firepit for years to come. Thanks Stacey and Giles!

Visiting friends & family

The property was amazing, garden terrific and hosts were always available to help us whenever we needed them. The location was great and we had the opportunity to frequent some of the local pubs! Thank you so much for looking after us, we hope to be back again soon. We highly recommend!

Girls weekend

Lovely cottage with a lovely garden. We had a really nice stay and Stacey and Giles were the perfect hosts. Would definitely recommend staying in this accommodation. It’s very central for touring W Sussex and Hampshire. Thank you for a lovely stay Joy, Ann & Sarah

Birthday Trip

Beautiful cottage and great location near some pubs / shops. Stayed at Rose Cottage for a chilled 30th birthday which was special. Rose Cottage had a lush garden and spent the evenings in the Breeze House. Modern throughout the cottage with the uniqueness of a cottage still. Great place to stay and lovely owners. Would definitely stay again.

This is a high quality holiday cottage, and a great base for various local attractions in Hampshire and Sussex. Quiet location, luxury finish, great garden overlooking a golf course.

Lovely little getaway

A small but perfectly formed holiday house with all amenities, in a convenient location. The highlight was the beautiful garden and breeze house in the garden which we spent much of the week in. The hosts couldn’t be more helpful providing a goal for our football mad boys. We had a lovely week and would be happy to return. One thing to note is the stairs to the top bedroom are very steep and narrow so very young and the elderly may have difficulties. Our boys were 8 and they were fine with it.
