This was our third visit to this hotel. The staff are friendly and the place is spotless. It can be a bit busy and therefore noisy at weekends but otherwise never fails to please

Indoor/ outdoor pools, games room, crazy golf. And very close to the beach. The staff where excellent and very helpful and friendly. The ramps for disabled guests where far to steep. Would be useful if they had shower seats available for the walk in shower. The cost of a meal in the dining room was excessively high, for the quality of food on offer.

This is our second time staying at this property. It is very family friendly, close to plenty of restaurants and shopping. The beach is right across the street. The amenities of the hotel are great and the staff is very friendly.

Ok - but not great!

This hotel is very conveniently situated right on the beach. Parking pretty good out front and they have their own car park which I parked my large van in. I stayed in Jan22 and they hotel was very quiet resting in plenty of parking spaces available (which is important to me). I can imagine how busy they get in peak season so I’d be aware of the potential for no parking then. Reception staff were a little negative, but ok. Food was decent but not a lot of choice for a buffet. Rooms were quite tired and are in need a makeover. Balcony door was hanging off its hinges, bathroom plug sockets loose etc (not looking for faults, they were just there!). All in all, not a bad place. Don’t think I had value for money for somewhere to stay in January.

Retro luxury hotel

This hotel is a real throwback to the heyday of holidaymaking in the south of Spain. The setting, the style and the facilities have a distinctly 70/80s feel, which you can either view as dated or charming (I thought the latter). I really hope they don't update the decor any time soon, because I reckon in five years it'll have come right round the curve and be super retro cool. Even if you don't like the retro style, the hotel still oozes luxury, with shiny stone floors, spacious communal areas with comfy armchairs, three pools (two outdoor, one indoor), jacuzzi and solarium. The restaurant is large and overlooks the sea front, with buffet style options for breakfast and dinner. The rooms are a decent size with a balcony and bath/shower and a type of wall hairdryer in the bathroom that I certainly haven't seen for decades!

Playdulce Beache Hotel

The hotel is very convenient for the beach,just acroos a quite road, beach has beds at reasonable cost in June. Beach is wonderful with very nice Fish Restraunts/bar combined ideal for lunch. The pool area was very comfortable with many sun beds. The pool does not have any easy/gentle access or exit, this is by means of straight vertical ladders which are extremely difficult for senior patrons to be able to access the pool. Promenade access at night was poor - the door to access the elevator was closed at 2100 - 3 flights of stairs to climb to access the hotel. The rooms were tired and dated, furniture fittings and bedspreads were all dull and dreary. The bathroom was the same, a walk in shower to compliment the bath would improve the bathroom as would upgrading the decoration. The small fridge in the room was inadequate and was not at all efficient. The buffet breakfast was adequate as was the evening buffet but not of any outstanding quality. The general decor of the hotel public spaces were dark and heavy and again furniture and fittings were tired and require modernising to give a more light and airy feel. The elevators were slow and very hot. Reception satff were hepful polite and well organised.
