Great location and large room

Large private room, ideal for a family of 4. Communal kitchen for breakfast. Very close to train station, only 3-4 minute walk. Perfect stay

The hotel is very convenient to the Tuburtina train station and bus station. There's also a metro station very nearby, but we didn't take the metro. The entrance to the hotel was hard to find when we first arrived. Once we knew where it was, this wasn't a problem. The hotel felt very safe and quiet. The owner/manager was very helpful. The person at the desk didn't speak English, and we only know a few phrases in Italian. She was easily able to contact the owner/manager if we needed to communicate a more complex issue.

The property was very close to transportation around Rome. The property said, through Expedia, our room was checked by staff prior to checking in,which if correct, was not made ready prior to actually entering the room for our stay later that evening.

Great stay great times

The room was nice and the place felt secure. Great location by the bus stations. Only complaint was that there was no toilet paper in our room.. hopefully that is not normal. Other than that was a great stay.

The facility is good, in a central location. secure building with nice neighbors. The approach to the building looked a little sketchy but, that comes with the territory. Most unhappy about the breakfast (included) provided there. The bread was not replenished after the first day. Same with cereal. There was an espresso machine and some milk and juices. But for a facility with 4 rooms, they were barely sufficient. Other guests had to get food from outside.

Bad conditions, bad location, bad, bad etc.

We arrived to hotel 21:00 pm because of his arrival time to Rome. In spite of I send an email, our room booked another customers. When we go to the apartment's gate ring the bell more times and we wait front of the door approximately 15 minutes with my wife between homeless and drunk men. After 15 minutes later an Indian office boy came from the street and said that check in closed. I said that I had send an email about late check in he said ok and follow me. We followed him. He went to a grocery and take some keys. After than he went to another apartment. He gave us another room with less conditions and quality than pictures on this site. Please think twice when booking Relais Tiburtina. Around the hotel is very dangerously. There are homeless and drunk men and thieves. Never ever.

The hotel is CONVENIENT! It's around the corner from the bus station and the train station. Neighborhood is a little sketchy and I wouldn't want to arrive there in the evening. Breakfast was out of boxes and barely ok.

Clean and easy transportation

Had a good stay at Relais Tiburtina. Easy train ride from the airport and only a few stops from the coliseum. While not in the center of the city, easy to get anywhere as it’s next to a transit hub. Also the area seems a bit rough but never had an issue. The hotel itself was a great, super clean and a stocked kitchen to grab a snack whenever you’re hungry. Would stay again!

bon séjour

Le séjour à l’hôtel Tiburtina s’est bien passé. La chambre disposait d’un grand lit et d’un petit lit confortable. Une petite cuisine permettait de déjeuner tranquillement. La personne de l’accueil était sympathique. Bien qu’étant à proximité de la gare c’était très calme. Il est dommage que cette personne sympathique n’était pas là au moment du départ.

Klassisches B&B, Frühstück leider mehr als dürftig, auch für ital. Verhältnisse. In der Dusche lagen noch diverse leere Verpackungen von Duschbad - Reinigung also nicht ganz so intensiv. Die Lage ist gut, in Bahnhofsnähe. Alles in allem solide, aber mehr als 2 Nächte nicht empfehlbar.
