We had stayed in that area before between getting off the cruise in Civitecchia and getting on a flight the next morning in Rome. The property was right across from the beach and close to a couple of nice restaurants. It was a nice apartment with a kitchen and living room as well as bedroom and bath. The host lived downstairs which is convenient in case you need anything, which we didn't. We got there really early but we were able to drop off our bags, go get a bite to eat and then go back and check in about an hour or so later. We walked around on the beach some that afternoon, found a place to pick up some dinner and called it a night as we had an early pickup. Our host had arranged a local to take us to the airport which is only about 15 minutes or so away. We would definitely stay there again.

Pros: comfortable bed. Large nice balcony with ocean view. Clean. Easy check in Cons: We booked this place because it specifically stated shuttle service for the airport. When we tried to schedule our arrival and departure shuttle service are messages were ignored. The towels reeked of smoke.

We had an issue with our train and ended up getting to the property very late at night. We left around 9 the next morning so we really didn't have a lot of time at the property. The view was pretty, but we didn't get to enjoy any time at/near the beach. The morning of our departure, we had no hot water. I contacted the property owners and didn't hear back for over an hour. By that time we had less than an hour before we needed to leave. There was information on a list in the kitchen that we didn't see. The hot water heater was controlled by a switch in the bathroom by the mirror. The switch looks like a normal light switch with no other labels on it saying 'do not shut off'. We don't know if we mistakenly turned off the switch or if it could have shut off when our power went out momentarily. The power in the entire unit went out late at night as we were getting ready for bed and in the dark we had to reset the breaker on the panel that shut off. Once we heard back from the property owner and got the heater turned back on, it needed time to warm the water. Time we didn't have. We had a 15 hour trip back home that day and couldn't take a shower. That was quite disappointing! We did meet with the owner before we left and he was a very nice guy. I just wish we could have heard back from him sooner so we could have maybe had a chance to shower before we left. So we ended up with a pretty expensive room where we only slept and then left.

I highly recommend this property. Very nice and helpful staff, clean rooms and beautiful ocean view from the balcony. Also, the owner helped us to arrange our ride from the bus station to the property, and then next day to the airport. The location of the property is great too, lots of restaurants and shops around the area. Next time I am in Rome, I will definitely stay here.

The property is fabulous and the deck has a wonderful view - perfect for a wine toast (we were on our honeymoon). It's close to the train station but has parking, it's very close to the water. The kitchen was fabulous and a small market is nearby. The restaurants are terrific! There was only one wine glass though (easily remedied) but the big bed mattress was terrible with big divots - so we slept in the other bedroom, which was small. Had some problems with parking but nothing we couldn't fix - make sure you do everything requested in the check in process and it will all go smoothly.

Great stay

We stayed here because we needed to fly out of Rome the next morning and it provided a nice change from the busyness of central room. The host was very welcoming and helpful and we love the area and you can’t be a panoramic ocean view.
