The host was very attentive to any needs we had during our stay. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. The view from the 2nd deck patio was beautiful. It was perfect for our short stay. I would recommend updating a few things though. I would like to see an updated coffee maker (Keurig single cup), the ceiling fan motor in the bedroom was on its last leg, more glasses in the kitchen, and the most important upgrade is to install WiFi. With the bad cell service in that area, WiFi is a must!!

Appliances were old & barely functioned. TV was difficult. Should have wi-fi. Beds & bathrooms were comfortable. Needs instructions for the door, entering & leaving. Needs binder with codes & instruction. No hangers - go to Walmart, buy a dozen!

Sweetheart weekend

I dropped a powder doughnut on the floor and went to sweep up the powder and I got a dust pan full of black cat hair, it was to fine to be a dog, however we we not informed that the property allowed pets. Thus explains why my wife had an allergy attach and puffy face. Others than that it was great

Beautiful surroundings

The property was beautiful, the view from the front porch is amazing and the top deck is an awesome touch! The house was nice but it was missing any extras it come with the basic set of pot/pans, no extras, no spices, no coffee not even salt or pepper! I love VRBO and use it about 2x a year, but this was the first time that we literally had no extras. The TV is very small in the living area and the locking mechanism on the front door is NOT user friendly, but other than that everything was very nice. A little advice for the sprinklers, maybe have them come on a little later at night, we were still utilizing the beautiful front yard when all of ofsudden BAMMM WATER refrom

Great place on Copano Bay

We enjoyed our stay at Relaxed Beachin. The house was super clean and the beds were comfy. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing, a nice plus after a busy day. We hope to return.

Quiet getaway

Very clean and quiet neighborhood. Comfortable sleeping accommodations and great shower stall. Needs bigger sofa or additional adult size chair. Mosquitoes were overwhelming, might consider adding a porch mosquito trap by the door. Overall, will stay here again.

Great little place near the water !!

Great Location to Rockport pier and activities 8 minutes away. It was cold and windy on our trip. The house was cozy and perfect for what we needed.

Clean and Decent

The house was clean. The bedrooms, bathrooms and and kitchen were nice sized. The house slept 4 comfortably with the two comfortable king size beds. However for a house that was designed to sleep 4 it was not designed for 4 to relax inside comfortably, the only dining area is the raised kitchen counter with 4 backless stools crunched together. The living room did not allow seating for 4. It has a loveseat for 2 people and a child's chair for a 3rd person to sit on and this chair is about the most uncomfortable chair you could imagine. The dishwasher door would not latch shut so we washed Thanksgiving dishes by hand. Take your own knives and can opener for use as the ones provided in the kitchen were completely useless. The 3 stars are for the small living and dining areas. I believe I will try another house next time I'm in Rockport as I just could not sit back and relax inside this house.

Could have easily been 5 Stars

When you rent this property through VRBO, you are really renting with Vacasa. This was our first time dealing with Vacasa, and we were disappointed and frustrated with their management & communication. When we arrived, the code we had been given for the front door did not work. We called Vacasa, and were eventually given instructions for locating a key that enabled us to enter the back door. For the entire week of our stay, we had to use the back door to leave & return to the home. Upon entering the home, we realized two things: the living room area is extremely small, and all of the living room furniture is very uncomfortable. A futon instead of a sofa? Why? And the only “chair” was kid-sized, with a broken leg. I reported the broken chair issue to Vacasa immediately, but never heard back from them. There were stools at the kitchen bar (too short to actually eat comfortably there) but one of them also had a dysfunctional leg. The coffee table in the living room is huge - entirely too large for the small space. All in all, we just felt that the living area had been furnished in the cheapest way possible with no regard for the guests’ comfort. The bedrooms & bathrooms were much larger and very comfortable. We did not get to use the deck very much, due to high winds while we were there. The front & back porch areas were dirty & covered with dead bugs. I had to sweep/clean them just to make them tolerable. The big, fenced yard was greatly appreciated by us and our pup. We toured Rockport extensively during our stay, and feel this location is one of the best in the area. The owners/Vacasa could easily make this a 5 star rental by upgrading the furniture in the living area and improving communication skills & responses to guest concerns.
