Had an overnight stay here with family. Room was tidy but dusty being all furniture and spare blankets smelt terrible. I don’t think they had ever been cleaned.

The room was ok, but there was a gurgling/water sound that kept happening- thought it was the air con, but it happened even when air con was off. There was a dead bug on the floor when I checked in - Room was serviced 3 times in my stay and the bug never removed. Pool was nice but didn’t seem to get cleaned in the 5 days I was there. Got pretty dirty towards the end. Had to wait 5-10 mins to check in as staff member was busy working in the bar.

All in all it was clean and presentable The shower in the wheelchair accessible room was quite dangerous as the water kept pooling up and spread across the whole bathroom which made getting to the toilet very messy and slippery etc the pricing averaged out to approx $159 a night which was on the high side for the age of the room etc Bed was comfortable , facilities were ok .

Tried ringing for early check-in but no answer. Tried ringing on after hour service, no answer. Surprised that no facilities were opened. Looked very run down as roadworks were out the front. Having said that the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were great. Grounds were lovely. There was a lot of construction in the area and this caused for a lot of silt in the pool. This was the only drawback but I am sure will be short lived.

The room was a really good size, though the double bed is not comfortable for two people. The location is great, off the Highway heading north out of Rockhampton and parking is very good, with high clearance, outside the room. We ate at the on site restaurant and the meal was quite good.
