We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful gem!David, our host, was extremely responsive and helpful. The home was immaculate and very thoroughly stocked. For us, the highlight was definitely the backyard - we enjoyed relaxing on the deck chairs and in the hammock, and taking in the brook and peaceful scenery overall.

Fantastic place, fantastic host!

The house is great! Very well stocked, comfortable, and clean! It fit 5 friends perfectly and we loved walking around the neighborhood and chilling in the backyard. But David the host really made this property. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Highly recommend!

Return visit

Second stay here, so familiar (& very comfortable) with home furnishings, etc. Missed sound of babbling brook from decks (too dry), but enjoyed ping-pong and billiards in former garage (since transformed into a very nice entertainment room) multiple times; especially on a rainy evening. Another memorable family visit to New York's beautiful Southern Tier lake region.

Fantastic Experience at Wooden Paradise in Catskills!!!!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at here. The location was idyllic, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The house itself was immaculate, well-designed, and fully equipped with modern amenities. The attention to detail was outstanding, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The house exterior and interior is so beautiful and artistic. I felt this house is the right place to chillout in summer. The backyard is perfect for nightouts and firecamp. It gives forest feels filled with all the trees and some deers. Last but not least game room is awesome. The best way to enjoy their time for gamers. Highly recommend who want to worth their holiday.

great house for long weekend

Comfortable house for an easy long weekend with 3 kids. Clean, tidy, and nicely decorated. Large back yard with hammock, 2 fire pits, and a small brook. Easy check in/out and great communication with owner.

Perfect stay

Our host was responsive to texts within minutes throughout our stay and genuinely very interested in making sure we had everything we needed. Complimentary beer and wine, fantastic Christmas lights and decorations, enough toys to stand up a small Toys R US, and great outside deck space! This place was a crowd pleaser start to finish. It’s very conveniently located to the ski mountain which was perfect for young kids. All in all very comfortable and a great value for a family get together.

Great family Thanksgiving gathering

Very grateful for a cabin like feel in a spacious open floor plan house that can accommodate adults, children and pets. Location was close to lake Louise and highway but also quiet and feels like you are out in the woods.

Fantastic experience

I cannot recommend this highly enough. It is located in a housing development about 20 mins from Bethel NY but when you go out back it’s a little secluded wooded paradise. This place was by far the most stocked rental I’ve ever been to. All dishes utensils towels sheets needed were there. The owner was amazing. The first day there we went to use the grill which was not working properly. I contacted the owner and there was a brand new grill on the front step last within 3 hours. Fantastic stay highly recommended! Thank you!

A great place to enjoy the Catskills!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay! The house is very private and yet just a short drive away from food, stores, and nature. The backyard is your own forest with a very nice deck, the inside of the house is neat and even has a PS5. Everyone in the family loved it!

Well-equipped cabin with a truly scenic back yard

Selected for its proximity to relatives, this property was an excellent location for a gathering of 3 sibling couples. The interior is "as advertised": lots of wood with comprehensive amenities & an eclectic mix of decorations. For this outdoorsy group, the "back yard" features were greatly appreciated: upper deck for dining, lower deck for reading/relaxation, fire pit for evening gatherings, & a dart board for fun - all accompanied by the sounds of a babbling brook, a secluded feeling (saw no neighbors), and multiple deer sightings on the adjacent hill with ferns and woods. Added up to a very comfortable & memorable stay.

Beautiful log cabin

This home is a real log cabin with style. Three large bedrooms with a jacuzzi in the master! Large kitchen with everything you need including coffee, tea and sugar. Nice BBQ grille with a full tank of gas. The backyard has a running babbling brook that you hear inside your bedroom. Lots of beautiful lighting on the upper and lower decks. Fire pit…. I could go on and on. Just a wonderful place to relax. Close to Legoland and a new Casino. You won’t regret renting this home!
