Loved the outside seating areas, enough so that if you needed to get out of the sun, you could find shade and a breeze. The gardens are beautiful, and since so many come to Lanesboro to bike, you meet the other friendly guests who are ready to share their biking stories. These are new owners, second Summer here so are working on updating the rooms. We were in Java, plenty of space in the room and had a drop leaf table that could be used for cards-games on a rainy day. Just 2 blocks to the Visitors Center and so many places to eat nearby. If they add grab bars for the tub/shower I would give it 5 Stars.

Thank you for the kind review. Carrie and I have been working hard to update the “old inn” with new carpet, paint, electrical,plumbing and furniture. We appreciate you letting us know about the grab bars, most rooms have them and you can guarantee that that issue will be resolved quickly.
