Behzat and his staff make you feel home from the first second you’re there. He runs an amazing team. The food is outstanding and we received a room upgrade without having to ask for anything. Behzat recommended a Mosel wine stand a couple of blocks from the hotel and we had a great time sitting in the sun with a bottle of wine at an affordable price. Thanks guys, great job and we’ll be back for a longer stay!

Nice hotel in rural area Germany. Clean and bright with family friendly features. Nice environmentally conscious touches. Delicious German style breakfast. Also had dinner at hotel, all very good. Would definitely stay here again.

A week on the banks of the Mosel.

We have just left here this morning 30/9/23 after a week's stay in the Hotel. The hotel is very nice the rooms are quite large and it's sited about 5 minutes walk to the banks of the Mosel in Riol. İt's a very quiet and relaxing place to stay the staff here are so friendly they treat the guests like relatives every one who works here is lovely and nice to talk to interested where you have been and where you come from we have had a lovely week's stay here and would recommend it to anyone. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced in the restaurant and the breakfast is the usual one you get everywhere on the continent. We stayed in room 1 on the 1st floor which had a balcony and was lovely this is just a great place to stay with easy access to the mosel's towns and cities.

Handy for the Mosel

We have stayed here before and we felt that the standards had dropped on this occasion. No clean towels during the stay and the bed was not changed.No toiletries in the room including soap. The room in the fridge did not work.No local brochures of things to do in the area. The breakfast was good value and plentiful. The positives are in December it is very quiet here, they are dog friendly and staff are helpful and welcoming.

Super cute, chateau outside, beautiful view

The only downfall is the hotel/restaurant was extremely hard to find in the dark. Tht being said, the villa/ chateau was very tidy, clean and cute. Wifi was not offered inside it, so you can only access it in the restaurant or main hotel area. Delicious breakfast buffet spread prepared. beautiful views of the mountains and grape vines. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. If I were coming back to the area, I would try to stay there again

Good hotel but a long way from civilisation

We arrived in darkness and the hotel was not easy to find - at the end of a twisting single track road beyond the village of Riol. There was plenty of parking space. The room was spacious and had a balcony but did not have much of a view. It was described as "Morgensonne" - "morning sun" - but as it faced the hillside we didn't see any morning sun at the end of November! The breakfast was very good and the hotel was generally very good value, although this was perhaps because it was not in the peak season. We did not have any other meals in the hotel, preferring to go out to Trier or Schweich. The hotel restaurant was only open for 4 nights in the week anyway. In the summer season there are no doubt a lot of leisure facilities but nothing is open in the winter, so a car is essential.

Fantastic hotel right beside beautiful cycle path along the Mosel. Quality room and bathroom with great views. Fun gravity roller coaster running down the mountsin side in the grounds ( we had lots of goes)

Very pleasant stay in a modern hotel near a new, still under construction playground, with wake boarding, water skiing, children's rides, and a weird German roller coaster. The restaurant is excellent, the service and food both aspiring to high standards.

Das kleine Chalet war sehr schön. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter, sodass wir draußen sitzen konnten. Alle waren sehr freundlich. Ein paar kleine Reparaturen sollten zeitnah vorgenommen werden (Wasser lief schwer ab im Waschbecken, Regler vom Kühlschrank war defekt, ein Griff des Kleiderschranks fehlte).

Mini-Chalets preislich in Ordnung, nah am See der Mosel und den Freizeitaktivitäten. Leider scheinen die Chalets nicht so gut gepflegt zu werden: Abfluss im Waschbecken lief fast nicht ab, Halterung der Duschbrause defekt, Wasserdruck der Dusche sehr gering, Ventilator im Zimmer defekt. Personal war dafür sehr bemüht und zuvorkommend und hat versucht die Mängel so gut es ging zu beheben, was nicht bei allem möglich war. Im Sommer heizen die Chalets tagsüber stark auf, da bleibt nachts nur bei offenem Fenster zu schlafen. Dazu fehlen aber Mückennetze am Fenster.
