The pool area was quite small for such a grand hotel. There were too many kids in the pools, splashing and thrashing around with the pool floats (noodles). If you do not get there in time, you will not find a beach chair to sit. They provide only one towel per key card. On the beach, you have to pay for chairs and umbrellas (the hotel does not provided that). The room was clean but minimal towels (you had to ask for extra). Our iron was burnt so they brought a new one with no issues. My birthday night (12/22) was a disaster. The hotel had let an entire outside group of about 100+ people rent out the lobby for a private party which prevented the hotel guest from enjoying any of the services offered (lounge bar, beach access, etc) and all they did was say I'm sorry. Also, they do not allow you to eat any outside food in the lobby. They instructed us to go to our room (which we could not because we had already checked out) or go outside (like pets). I did not appreciate that at all. We literally got told by multiple staff that we were not allowed to eat our food inside even though we had explained to them that we were waiting for our taxi to the airport which was coming in like 20 min. After spending a significant amount of money on this trip, I was extremely disappointed in my stay here and I would never stay here again. I would not recommend.
