Upon initial inspection of room: cockroach found in the tub, open drywall around outlet and cobwebs around the bed, very worn sheets, didn't dare stay. Went to desk to report and asked to reverse checkin. 3 attendants there including what appeared to be the owner who said he lived there. Refused to give back copy of my ID

Floor in room was filthy. I went to sleep because i was tired and woke up and turned light on and multiple roaches were crawling all around the room. Including the refrigerator. I checked out of hotel at 1 am and drove home to florida with no sleep. I will be making a complaint with the South Carolina health department
