Staff very helpful and pleasant, bedroom wasvery clean and well decorated service and food was excellent. Couldn't give it an overall excellent because the bed whilst being okay it was a bit past it's sell by date and not the most comfortable

Staff member who checked us in was polite and pleasant. Lovely clean and spacious loft room, huge bathroom which was on the lower floor. Beautiful sort white towels (although we did only have one bath towel). Breakfast hamper was great. It would be useful to have had a small table to eat at.

The staff at Fox Hall are all AMAZING! So helpful and kind and made our stay feel 5*! The rooms were clean and bright and breakfast was fantastic. Waking up to the beautiful views across Yorkshire was just stunning! A wonderful place to stay!

The staff were great and really friendly, the room was lovely and the provided continental breakfast was excellent for the price we paid. The only negative was there was not a lot of atmosphere in the pub and they stopped serving and closed the pub at 9 pm on a Saturday night

The hotel is next to the A66, which is very convenient. We couldn’t have been more impressed or happy with this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. It’s also very dog friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend and we will return.

We booked a room at The Fox Hall at the very last minute, as we are attending a wedding nearby the next day. It was really just for convenience and we weren't that bothered about exactly where we stayed. That said, what an absolute gem The Fox Hall is! From a very friendly greeting, a delightful room and an excellent supper, we feel very lucky to have stumbled across it and we're planning to return (intentionally!) soon!

Welcome when we arrived and the service throughout was amazing. The evening meal was fabulous too. The only slight issue we had was the soundproofing. We were in Room 8 and could hear noise from kitchen and other rooms.

Clean room, even though at the back you could hear the road traffic with the windows open. Breakfast in the room was good. For me only comment is that the mattress on the bed was too soft & slightly lumpy for me.

What a lovely place to stay. A convenient location on the A66 (near to Scotch Corner). Beatiful views from the back of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful from start to finish. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals in the bar area. Rooms were nice and comfortable with a very spacious bathroom and great shower. The only downside was that we were in Room 8 which was above the kitchen which was a bit on the noisey side. Will definitely use again but would bring ear plugs next time.

An absolute gem beside the A66.The room was so nice with a huge bathroom & comfortable big bed.The decor of the bar & restaurant was very tasteful & had a cosy feel. The staff couldn’t do enough.
