A brilliant hotel

We stayed here for a 4 night break, and could have not found a better hotel. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome, not a great deal of English spoken, but better than our Spanish! The room was very comfortable, one small problem with the shower holder, but this was fixed almost immediately. The breakfast was good, filling and fresh, with no limit on the amount one could have.

Beautiful old country house in rural location yet

Arrived at Posada de Langre less than an hour after landing in Santander Airport. the friendly staff and comfortable conditions at Posada de Langre made our stay most enjoyable, so much that we returned for an extra few days at the end of our holidays. Great location for the beach, hiking, cycling and a top surfing area. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet holiday thats within easy reach of the city.

Not what I expected

I booked a room with terrace, the room wall TINY and had no terrace, the shower was hidden behind the bathroom door. The whole place smelled like the dairy cattle farm next door, no airconditioning to filter the smell, and the internet didn't work in my room, we had to walk to the adjoining building to use the lobby internet. Friendly staff and a nice little town, but overpriced for what I received.

Great place!

15 minutes walk from a beautiful beach. Gorgeous clean, individual hotel. Good value for money. Breakfast was fantastic - loads of good quality bread, croissants and cake! Definitely worth a stay.

Bastante retirado de Santander, pero si vas en coche está perfecto. El entorno es inmejorable. Silencioso, tranquilo y muy agradable. El desayuno bien y sin problemas de aparcamiento.-

Hemos estado 4 dias en esta posada,queriamos descansar y desconectar un poco de la ciudad con nuestra perrita sira,todo perfecto la unica pega el spa k no estaba funcionando y no pudimos disfrutar de el,lo demas todo bien.recomendable

Teleurgestelde vakantieplaats.

De posada lag vrij afgelegen. Er is mij vanuit jullie airco bevestigd, was er niet. Gelukkig geen probleem, want de temperayuut viel mee. De posada is niet berekend op meer gasten, er moest gewacht worden in de hal op een plaats om te ontbijten.Dit geeft een opgejaagd gevoel als eter en als wachtende ongemak. Het ontbijt was steeds hetzelfde, ik ben beter gewend, zeker voor die prijs.Ik zou hier meer terug gaan, het is de prijs niet waard.

Posada rural muy agradable y tranquila.

Disfrutamos de unos días muy agradables en la posada, con unos desayunos abundantes y ricos, en un ambiente rural muy tranquilo, especialmente recomendable para pasear por los alrededores e ir a las playas próximas. El personal del hotel muy amable, nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos, cambiándonos incluso la habitación inicial que estaba en planta baja y nos resultaba más incómoda por una mejor en la primera planta, nos recogieron y llevaron en coche hasta el autobús, ya que no disponemos de vehículo... Una experiencia, en resumen, muy positiva.

Pros: Staff are very kind and lovely. breakfast was very good. Affordable price. Near to nice beach. Cons: Corridor was too dark to find key hole at the door. Keys are somehow out-dated, so was inconvenient. Room was a bit cold.

Personal nada profesional.

Alojamiento básico. Nada más llegar nos comunicaron que no habia agua caliente debido a una avería que no se solucionó. Nos nos ofrecieron ninguna alternativa ni solución, ni contra-prestación, ni reaccionaron como es propio de profesionales. Personal sin formación, poca capacidad y menos aptitud hace mucho daño al sector, y a clientes habituales de este tipo de escapadas de fin de semana nos obliga a volver a establecimientos (hoteles, etc.) con garantías y olvidarnos de algunos alojamientos rurales que no cumplen con los estandares de calidad. Entorno y paisaje agradable.

El Hotel ,n conjunto, está bien. Para mi hay un problema de olor y moscas, debido a que se encuentra rodeado de vaquerías La habitaciones no tienen ni un mueble que haga pareja con el otro y en nuestra habitación las toallas estaban en una especie de galán de noche fuera del baño Además por la mañana ni siquiera nos hicieron la cama

Wirklich schönes und stimmungsvolles Landhotel. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, nette Bedienung am Frühstück und angenehmes, ruhiges Zimmer. WLAN funktionierte einwandfrei und kostenlos. Schade nur, dass es in der Umgebung (Laufdistanz) nichts gibt wo man zum Abendessen gehen kann. Entweder man nimmt mit Bocadillos vorlieb oder man muss nochmal fahren. Hier wäre es schön, wenn das Hotel zumindest Kleinigkeiten bieten würde.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommene Idylle für Surfer

Die Standard Zimmer sind leider sehr klein (deutlich kleiner als die angegebenen 14 Quadratmeter), die Einrichtung der Zimmer hatte nicht sehr viel mit der Einrichtung der Bilder von der Anzeige (Superior Rooms) zu tun, das WLAN funktionierte nur in der Lobby im Haupthaus und nicht im Zimmer, das TV Programm bestand aus 7 Kanälen mit Wahrsagern. Für den Preis tatsächlich etwas enttäuschend, da der erste Eindruck wirklich super gut war. Positiv kann man wirklich die Lage und die Hilfsbereitschaft der Hoteleigentümer heraus stellen.

Camas y almohadas incómodas

Es una pena que una posada tan bonita tenga una cama y unas almohadas tan incómodas. Además, la habitación que nos tocó no es como las que aparecen en las fotos, era rústica, pero muy oscura y normalita, además el baño era minúsculo. Eso sí, todo un lujo poder disponer de jacuzzi privado para los huéspedes. También he leido que la gente en los comentarios se quejaba del olor de las vaquerías de la zona... me imagino que esas personas no habrán salido de la ciudad en su vida... en el pueblo olía pero a la posada no llegaba el olor. Además, cuando vas a desconectar a una pequeña aldea... en realidad qué esperaban? Mejor eso que no la contaminación de la gran ciudad.
