This a lovely place to stay. I give it 4 not 5 because to me it is not a 4 star "hotel" (by UK standards) for a couple of reasons: it is more rooms/an apart-hotel than a "hotel, the reception is not manned all day, there is not actually a reception but a staff member who sits in the patio, the breakfast is yummy (& Maria did a wonderful job the first 4 days) but on the last day service was very slow (1.5hrs). But everything else was great - the room was lovely, clean, spacious; there is a beautiful common patio area to enjoy sun and shade; the location is fantastically central; the staff were very friendly & helpful, and Nikos was very responsive to messages.

Spotlessly clean, most friendly and welcoming staff who go above and beyond for you. Stayed here last year, this year didnt disappoint! Will be booking again! Staff Maria and Maria and owner Mariana were so friendly. Vast choice for breakfast, water provided everyday. Very quiet and just two minutes from the main shopping areas. Cant recommend enough!

A Piece of Heaven!

Staying here was truly one of the most authentic and memorable experiences I’ve ever had. The location is perfect, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is simply outstanding. Mariana and Maria were wonderful, genuine hosts — their kindness and warmth made me feel at home the moment I arrived. What made it even more special was the chance to connect with other guests. Over the delicious breakfast and later in the evening with a glass of wine, I had conversations that made the experience feel more like staying with friends than at a hotel. As a solo traveler, I never once felt unsafe — in fact, I felt cared for and completely at ease. This place is truly a hidden gem, a little slice of heaven. I only wish I could have stayed longer! If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, but an unforgettable experience filled with warmth, connection, and authenticity — this is it.

Apartment-Guest House Hybrid Beautiful and welcoming place to stay. Staff went above and beyond, helping with transfers and even assisting us with a lost luggage issue. Their sister property, S. Nikolis Historic Boutique Hotel, also provided excellent support. Delicious, freshly cooked breakfast each morning. Our room had its own air conditioner and a private outdoor seating area.

Lovely spacious suite, great aircon, fabulous breakfast. Just steps away from the main shopping area in old town with loads of fabulous restaurants close by. Was grateful for the golf buggy transfer to the city gate as cobbled streets are no fun with suitcases! Staff were all excellent and welcoming, a great stay, would recommend

The staff is above and beyond exceptional. Kind and helpful and very generous. Gorgeous medieval courtyard area and the rooms are lovingly crafted. Feels like staying in another time! Breakfast is absolutely delicious and fresh (this is no “hotel buffet” nonsense, they make it fresh to order), very quiet street but near all the Rhodes magic. AC worked well, restocked water every day was a nice touch! Comfy bed. Good lighting. Nice shower. Well furnished. Very happy we stayed here!

The location was super in the Old Town and very quiet. The hotel is very safe. We arrived after midnight and the hotel’s golf cart collected us from the Old Town gate. The room was spotless. Breakfasts were amazing. The staff couldn’t do enough to help. I paid for late checkout and then the golf cart took us back to the Old Town gate (no vehicles in the Old Town). I would go again and recommend to my friends.
The breakfasts were amazing. This is pancakes, Greek yoghurt, frozen berries and honey.

This property is amazing. So lovely, nice and clean. Excellent breakfast and staff are so polite. In the centre of town but still quiet and safe. I Couldnt reccommend more! Fantastic owner as well.

Very calm atmosphere in a busy central location. Lovely large bedroom . Super breakfast served by a lovely lady called Maria. The only negative is that Rhodes old town is party central. The music is very loud until 03.30 emanating from nearby squares and bars. The only way to avoid it is to have the air conditioning on full.

Nice stay in the Old Town

A lovely stay in the Old Town of Rhodes. Our taxi was met by a golf cart to take us and our luggage to the hotel. Our cases were taken to our room We had a lovely room with a big bed and good air-con. We had a little sitting area outside with an umbrella. We walked around the old and new parts of town and had a relaxing stay. Breakfast was lovely and served in the lovely garden next to an old church. We had a bottle of wine on arrival and were provided with water every day of our stay which was great. There are bars and restaurants nearby so this place is in a great location to explore Rhodes old town - a nice time was had here.

We liked it so much we came back!

Having returned to Rhodes we had a less than satisfactory experience with communication from another property and decided to give up on them. I cancelled that me was delighted that St Artemis had a room available. Within an hour we were welcomed back and had the same wonderful reception in this beautiful little hotel. Oh and breakfast is amazing! Thank you so much for looking after us, I’d never book anywhere else in Rhodes.
