Fantastic location for exploring Reykjavik on foot

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Perfectly suited for a family of four (though we had 5 and didn't struggle to find space). The highlight of the place was the location: one block from Laugavegur, filled with restaurants, shops, and a short walk to major sites, museums. Parking was a little bit of a challenge since the road it's on is P1 parking (the most expensive option), which was the only negative; While I got lucky and found a free spot at the school by Hallgrimskirkja and left it there for a couple of days, P3 parking is only a block away and fairly cheap (by Iceland standards) if you can't find a free one. In general, would very much recommend this place for visiting Reykjavik.

Perfect two nights!

This was perfect for my family! We are mom, dad, and two (mostly)adult children. The two bedrooms were super comfortable and we had everything we needed. There was tons of space in this well decorated apartment. Thanks for a great stay!

Gods location

We enjoyed our 4 day stay in Reykjavik at the Tyr apartments. Great central location to everything in the city. Process to get into the apartment was easy but disappointed that we couldn’t get in even a little early. It was a rainy day and we actually had no where to go. We went to a couple of bars and made the best of it!!

Small City - Big Fun

Apartment was neat and clean. Location was in center of city, perfect. Owner made stay easy and provided all that was needed. Iceland is expensive but a unique experience and this apartment fits the bill.

Centrally located - spacious 2br apartment

Perfect location if you want to explore all areas of the city center on foot! From the apartment we walked to the Perlan, the Harbour and the Zoo (cute seals). Very spacious corner apartment with a key code for the main door and apartment door. We were spoiled every morning by the nespresso machine :) Just two blocks to the grocery and four blocks to the northern waterfront sculpture & shore walk.

Great location for exploring the city

Loved the location and ease of access. The only issue with the property was the kitchen lacked several items to efficiently cook even simple meals. There were no kitchen towels at all. The stove took over 30 minutes to boil water for pasta, and there were random, mismatched pots and lids, limited cooking utensils, yet 2 toasters. We improvised but ended up eating out because it was too much work to cook in the apartment. Besides the kitchen issues, the apartment was clean and safe and in a great location that made walking everywhere easy. Would stay again.

Great location for modern apt.

Wonderful apartment for our family. Very walkable location. Super easy to check in and quick communication from rental company. Kitchen had great setup and beds were very comfortable.
