We checked in after midnight so we couldn't use the self check in. The line wasn't too bad because they had adequate staff at the front desk. For some reason we were given an upgrade to a very large suite with balcony, which was a really nice surprise. The room was a bit dated but in very good shape, very clean, and very large. I think the casino here is bright and not too smoke filled. I will stay here again next time I need to spend the night in Reno.

All of the above, but the best was the staff! All my staff encounters were personable, meet with a smile, and helpful. I felt welcomed, like the staff was actually glad I was there. Very refreshing when customer service has been sorely lacking over the last few years. Peppermill Resort goes above and beyond in my estimation! Kudos! I will go back.

The room was mediocre. The tile on the shower wall was disturbing (it looked like a goat's head). The positives - I could park super close to my room and the spa was across the alley from my room. The bed and pillows not so comfortable. Check in and check out super easy.

Pros: - Resort is clean and modern - A large variety of restaurants - Arcade for the kids - Heated pools Cons: - The bed was lumpy and pillows were uncomfortable, didn't get good sleep - We went to Biscotti Cafe and the food was pricey and did not taste good - The heated pools could be warmer. At the waterfalls, too much cold water was mixed in so it was too cold.
