部屋はとても綺麗で十分な広さがあった。質問はメールですぐに回答があり、対応は良かった。さらに良い部屋にするために、洗面台の鏡の前に追加の照明、フライパンの蓋が欲しい。また、ナイフは切れ味が悪く使いづらかったので、研いでほしい。

The location and property were very nice and clean. However, it was my worst experience waiting outside dealing with the “confirmation”. I received an email “on the arrival day” asking us to “confirm” our booking by providing ID copies and paying deposit. Q1. Where was the link to pay deposit? Not mentioned. Q2. What method did the property want us to provide our ID copies? Not mentioned. Q3. Did any sentence in the email mention that you want us to send as an attachment / a reply to that email? NO. Q4. Did any sentence mention once the first requirement (ID copies) is received, the payment link would then be sent? NO. NOT CLEAR AT ALL. Would not book again.

Communication on how to supply ID / pay deposit wasn't as clear as it could've been. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and was very squeaky. The location and business on the ground floor meant we were woke up promptly each day at around 6am.

Good location wouldnt return after communication

Location good and all the facilities you would expect in an aaprtment and good welcome pack. Communication poor and needs adressed. Issue reported with sink ignored. Also the matress cover was badly stained shower felt like it was poorly installed very loose. After booking I was asked for ID and a deposit. I assumed this was a scam so ignored. On the day of my stay I was contacted to ask why I hadn't paid deposit or sent ID. I understood hotels.com advise not sending any money outwith the site but was told if I didnt the stay would be cancelled. I was also told my deposit would be refunded the day I checked out. This did not happen and in fact was only sent the following day after I emailed to ask.

Good value.

The location is great, just 10 minutes from the main train and tube station and next to all the shops. The place was clean and it had plenty of kirchen utensils. My studio faced the back of the building which meant i got the sunshine but not the street noise. I would have preferred black-out curtains as the blinds are great for privacy but the sunshine will wake you up in the middle of the night. Like any other hotel, once the neighbours start turning in for the night, you can hear all the doors shutting.

Clean and comfortable, but would benefit from refurbishment! If flat is on the front of the building, there’s a lot of noise and light from the street, at all hours! There are no blackout blinds, so bring an eye mask! Double glazing reduces the noise, but you’ll need ear plugs if sleeping with windows open. The hot water cylinder only heats up at night, so it’s not unusual to have no hot water in the evenings!

Decent stay right in the middle of Reading

Really decent for what it was. It's super close to and in the middle of the city center for Reading so it was a lot easier to get places because it's also close to the freeways. There's a polish market right next door and bank which made it super easy to get stuff in a pinch. I wish the network was better because it was super laggy. The place was alright it was like a 90s blast from the past three big old tv that you can't stream to and the furniture but I mean for the price it was great to have a full real sized fridge(not as big as stateside but a lot better than baby fridges we encountered), toy washing machine that took forever to dry but at least they had it and a dishwasher that worked. Loved the cleaning and fact everything you need was there it was kinda like a extended stay mixed with like a mariott residence inn minus a free breakfast and free parking. That was a trip though the parking was tiny in that broad street mall parking structure and you have to automatically pay for like a week at the machine. Super hard to manuever a SUV up that tight, steep ramp. The bed was ok and everything was clean. Kinda weird way to check in but that seems to be the thing over there.

I've stayed here a few times now and every stay I have the same issue with the television not working or being available. It's a shame that this makes this accommodation no good. I'm travelling for work, so the basics matter. I've just cancelled 8 weeks of bookings after experiencing 3 weeks of the same problem.
