Our one night stay was absolutely exquisite. Of all the stays during our three week visit to Sicily this was by far our favorite. It is a palazzo in more than name. The family has occupied this incredible property since 1920. When you stay here you become part of their fascinating history and they treat you like a guest in their home. It was one of the most memorable accommodations where we have ever stayed.

Don't think twice-this is the best hotel in Ragusa

Hands down this is the place to stay if you are visiting Ragusa. Hosts were extremely attentive to our every wish, and they had done a great job restoring a historic palazzo. It feels like sleeping in a museum with so many genuinely rare and classic artifacts - but in a good way, with all the modern convenience. Breakfast was to die for (they served ricotta freshly made that morning and made cannolis on the spot for us). Minibar is free. You have to walk down the stairs to reach Ragusa Ibla but that walk was the favourite part of our trip - every step is beautiful and insta-worthy.

Great location with original features

Lovely hosts that makes you feel very welcome. The place has wonderful history and many original features that are renovated to look beautiful. The comfort in the room could have been a little better, there was a very strange plastic mattress cover on the bed that was extremely weird and uncomfortable to sleep on. Apart from that the room was great with a wonderful view. If you want a hotel with that family feel and hosts that does anything for you, this is the place for you!
